I dinged 55 last night (YAY!) and scribed the Adept I version of Sonic Fist. I used it all night to pull bad guys and found that it only teleported me to the target about a quarter of the times I used it. The rest of the time, I would shoot lightning at it instead. Is it being resisted? Thanks,Thoral, 55 Bruiser, Mistmoore<div></div>

I have noticed mine fails when I am at a bit higher or lower altitude then my target. It sucks when it happens. especially in pvp.<div></div>

Pretty certain its a Y axis thing.

<P>Mine never fails because of the Y axis. It only fails when it misses.</P> <P> </P> <P>Additionally, it has a low accuracy. I miss grays with it quite a bit.</P>

I have the adept 1 and it rarely misses, the few times I actually use it (though it's as streaky as any "random" thing in eq2). The only time I've noticed it not teleporting me is when the attack misses (resists, w/e). I might actually start using it again since they nerfed the ranged double attack thing. Probably not though, since most pulls are body pulls these days anyway.

When it shoots lightning, that means that the actual attack missed. If you are in defensive stance, you have a greater chance of missing this attack, meaning no teleport and no damage. Y-Axis has nothing to do with this<div></div>

Well since I only really use it to pull mobs, and the mob gets pulled regardless of if the attack hits or misses, I dont really care too much. <div></div>

I can force it to do the streaky thing. You know how sometimes as a caster there's a hill or something that breaks your line of sight, but then you can jump and cast the spell? Well it'll keep casting even though you fall back out of line of sight. If you do this with Sonic Fists, it will do the streaky thing and pull the target without you ever having to move from your spot.Great for pulling without body pulling all the stuff around the mob. Still counts as an "attack" though, so it can still pull some stuff... but you won't be sitting there for a few seconds getting wailed on before warping back.<div></div>
