<P>Yes, Devastation Fist is teh pwn.</P> <P>Of note, it does not work on any mob with a ^, but it will work on mobs without any arrows or with down arrows, whether they are part of a heroic group or not (description says it doesn't work on Heroic mobs, which isn't entriely clear).</P> <P>It's great for thinning out heroic groups, farming solo mobs or handling solo adds.  It's also fun in groups on the rare occasion that you pull mobs it works on and everybody goes, '[expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] was that?'.</P>

Great spell for PvP. Still think it has lost some of its flavor, especially since you can buy it now. I was quite proud when I did all the quests to get mine. But again, EQ2 needs to be made easier.

<P>If someone does the Quest that is an Alchemist, they can purchase the Alchemy Recipe for Crafting the Devastation Fist CA (Essence of Devastation Fist I believe its called) and once they craft it, they can put the Essence up in AH so yes, in theory, its a Sellable/Buyable Combat Art now. </P> <P>As far as I know, however, as per the normal CA recieved from the Quest, once Scribed, Devastation Fist has no Rank (not Appr or Adept or anything).</P> <P>Shivan</P>

<P>I can confirm, it is in my recipe book.  App 4.  Used to be only crusaders and warriors were in, but they back-filled it to include brawlers.  I cannot say how it scribes, but my guess is that whether quested or not, it sits the same.</P> <P>When you get to 56 and Sonic Fists, it's a pretty neat combo - point out an even monster to your group, teleport in with Sonic, mash Devestation, and teleport out.  The monster is usuall still falling to the ground when you are back among your friends to questions like "What the... how did you *do* that?!?"  :smileyhappy:</P>

<P>That, or find the crafting channel, or LFW crafters, and ask a 35+ alchemist to fabricate it for you.  The alchemist will have to have the Al'Korn book necessary, but most crafters have most books.  You will find success if you also have the necessary materials on hand for the combine:  five each of tussah roots, loam from the hard ore,  and opaline or velium (I think it's velium, but bring five of each, just to be sure) from the soft ore nodes, all harvestable from the Enchanted Lands or Zek.  A tip for fuel and time wouldn't hurt either.  If you are on Antonia Bayle, seek me.</P> <P>Redmouser, Bruiser, AB</P>

Does this mean you can now get Devastating Fist without having to buy the adventure pack?  Cause it sounds like the quested version is from the adventure pack and the version from the broker is just bought from a crafter that got the recipe from the adventure pack.

<DIV>The Bloodlines recipes used to be sold in the tradeskill instances.   Any 35+ alchemist who had scribed the regular recipe book now has Devastation Fist.     If you are an alchemist and don't have the recipe book, I believe someone who as completed the quest line can buy it and trade it to you.      I even sent one in the mail, so they are transferable.</DIV>

It has a pvp clicky which says its damaged is reduced to 85% which gives the impression it should work pvp, then again it would be a pretty overpowered spell if it did work i guess :smileywink:</P> <P> </P>

Sure there are.  In Lavastorm you can find groups of four linked no arrows (up or down) mobs that are labeled heroic.

If you had actually done the quest to get this spell like some people *cough* you would know that a) heroics exist without ^ - and that this spell works on them because there are plenty in the tombs of night zone.

I'm curious as to what the highest HP mob in the game this works on is. The highest hit I've done was 12.7k on a level 72 mob with a down arrow, can't remember where it was though.Are there any 72+ no arrow mobs in nizara or something that it works on?<div></div>
