What DPS class would you pick? <div></div>

<DIV>Prolly a Brigand because all the classes we have trouble with in duels such as Defilers, templars, mystics they just own without a hitch.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>but there would have to be some major nerfage on the bruiser for me to even consider rerolling.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

You mean see what the best dps you can get with another classes debuffs? Brigand easy.Dueling is no way comparable to the pvp system. My Tsunami (as a Monk) doesn't work properly in the arena so its hard to counter many things. Generally don't ever lose to Brigands unless they can snare me while my cure is down but I carry potions, lots of potions for such an occasion. The distance enables them to debuff me really badly and then finish me.Defilers are the hardest due to haste debuff and warding.. before I can eat their ward, re-warded <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

I benched my bruiser for a Coercer.. If I had t pick a damaging melee class it would be a brig...
<FONT face=Garamond size=4>I actually did roll a Brigand to check out the PvP- but couldn't handle the separation anxiety and had to go back to Bruiser.</FONT>

Don't bench your Bruiser. You'll be like me and regret it ever since. :p

<DIV>if I had to bench my bruiser I would probably start playing an Assasin. I only goofed around with one on Beta, and I see such a wide variance in assasin DPS, I think it's a class that a skilled player can REALLY shine at.... and I'd like to compare myself to some of the other assasins on my server and Their DPS. But I'm not levelling another toon to 70.... 2 70's and a 68 is enough for me. </DIV>

I love this board. The reason I asked the question of this esteemed community was that a dear old friend recently came back to the game. He has an SK, so I was considering, for all of an instant, a reroll (only level 37 now) to a pure DPS class for the good of the group.I am ashamed at my weakness and beg forgiveness.<div></div>

<P>Tried a few, in the end i'd go with my swash, incredible sustained dps, nice debuffs, tracking for named, can tank in a pinch, crazy burst dps with inspire. Difference in dps between scouts are more or less dependant on the player/gear ranger/[expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]/swash/brig all good choices for a dps twink.</P> <P>Sorcs are ok fun for the Ooh Ahh effect, but power/aggro is an issue if your hoping to keep up with rogues/preds.</P> <P>Necro used to kick much butt, however with recent changes and the lack of burst dps hurts em, and you end up feeling too much like an eq1 mage, and too little like an eq1 necro :p</P> <P>Gaapp Toof, 70 Ogre Bruiser</P> <P>Derwille Zur'Macht, 70 Gnome Necromancer</P> <P>Alsosprach Zarathustra, 70 Erudite Wizard</P> <P>Gaap Toof, 63 Ogre Swashbuckler</P> <P>Oasis.</P>

<DIV>I also have a 70 dirge and it's pretty fun, but not as fun as a bruiser. I also play a 70 warlock and that is very fun. I die too much on the warlock though... </DIV>

Wizard or warlock would be fun and a huge change of pace from an SK for [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] sure.
