Which class to play

hello, i bought eq2 when it game out an played a necro to 20 then stopped playing, now im coming back and rolled a dirge because i was a bard in eq1. I just now realized its not the class i wanna play. i know this is bruiser forums and i was posting to see what you guys think. im looking for a good DPS class near the top perferably. The tanking side of bruiser appeals me. i like to do xp groups but i also would like to solo efiiciently. <DIV>Bruiser's Arnt the "Best" dps but we pull a good amount im pretty happy with it. Berserkers ATM are capable of out dpsing us on multiple mob fights aand about 50/50 on solo mobs. If your looking for high DPS id go with conjuror/necro or a assassin/swashbuckler maybe. For soloing conj/necro can solo pretty well bu t Bruisers can solo to. Our solo ability was nerfed down a tad bit but its still a doable thing for named etc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Solo/DPS/Tanking - Bruiser</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>DPS and Tanking - Berzerker</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Pure  melee DPS - Assassin and Swashbuckler</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Super high DPS/soloing ability - Conjuror and Necro</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Utility class (buffs, debuffs. really appritiate the information, thank you alot on sorting out the classes for me, very helpfull. I decided to play a bruiser cause well, they have what i want and there fighting type is awesome much better class then dirge for my playing style.thanks again <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

Brig. IMO Good tank, Great debuffs, Great DPS no problem solo or group

<DIV>Brawlers in general are a heck of a lot of fun to play.  If your group has another good tank you can be dps and pick up the adds.  If your tank leaves you can be the tank...the flexibility is great.  Solo'ing is very safe and goes pretty fast.  Plate tanks and healers have the most room for error when solo, but kill slower and have to fight everything they agro.  Feign death is a lovely thing...</DIV>
