<div></div>punch punch and PUNCH your way to FREEDOM.there is a ton of information here, if you're looking for such, I would just caruse the bruiser forum here and check out threads that sound interesting.  Other then that the BEST advice I can give is to play.  Trial and error is your best friend as it will teach you and train you in ways that a message board cannot.  It is best to fight with weapons until level 20.  Doesnt matter what, duel weild, 2 handed..if they have nice looking stats and you can afford it, go for it.  Get Adept1 and adept 3 version of your Combat Abilities(CA's) as soon as you can.  If you cand find them, look for apprentice IV's.  If you are on Nagafen or Permafrost give a tell to (<font color="#99ffff">Permafrost/Kithian</font>, or <font color="#ff0033">Nagafen/Ganjookie</font>) I'll hook you up with some gear and get you on your way.Other then that go buck wild on the isle and stay tehre till you feel good.  You can do the last cave quest multiple times and get good fighting multiple mobs at once, as well as get alot of adepts for your class and others, that you can sell or trade for what you need.  You also have the chance of getting a metal chest which should have a master book in there.Fight any and all named MoBs, they have the best loot on the isle.  Even the cow Mable has a useful belt, as well as the hawk guy on the hill, he has a nice chest peice for you.WowI guess I did have some advice... <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />[edit:]Also you should know that gaining aggro in groups will be different from other tanks who just spam Taunts.  Your damage is part of you aggro, single taunt, group taunt, move to next mob and punch them a few times, taunt and move to the next one. group taunt ..rinse and repeat.  A good bruiser is hard to find....<div></div><p>Message Edited by ganjookie on <span class=date_text>06-27-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:01 PM</span>

Hey I'm kind of new to a bruiser too, lvl 25 atm, but I have been reading the forums and it seems a lot of people prefer to go unarmed and a lot prefer to use weapons.  What are the advantages/disadvantages of each? <div></div>

unarmed if you are going down the STR AA line, other wise go with weapons for stat bonuses and decent damage<div></div>

Yah until you have alot of points in the STR line fistrwraps made by a weaponsmith are best, but go STR line ASAP for the dps, but thats my opinion really, AA is all about making your own decisions.<div></div>
