How to use a STR/STA doll

<div></div>most people pull (on tough named etc) w/ stamina dolls.  so you've got all your buffs up, standing about 10meters out or whatever, cast it, the mob comes to you.  go through your routine, then in later levels (when you get your better mez's) you cast strength and stamina dolls while the mob is mez'd to debuff them and buy time for your good combat arts to come back up.

<div>yet another reason why people pull with a hex doll is because of the long cast time, they cannot use any other abilities, and also they would have a chance to get interrupted.  it's 8 seconds of being vulnerable... and you eliminate that vulnerability if you use it to pull.</div>

<div></div><div></div>OK.....success! I am now...with major armoe upgrades too, able to kill Blue^^^ Giants in TS at lvls 26 and 27 (I am lvl 30). I am pulling with one hex doll and at the first mez do another and then at next mez refresh the first one. It is great. Not that I don't get wooped sometimes by the 27's...they r tough, but I think im about 50/50 now with so so armor, only one or 2 peices inbued. <p>But, you're also wasting a few seconds of valuable debuff as the mob closes to where you are. I say pull with range and THEN debuff for maximum value.</p>

Once they get to me i go through CA's ----->Cancell Dot---->Mez--->Use other doll and Sucker Punch(Adept3) ---->Do again.</p><p>I have noticed that the mob is generall dead by the time the first dolls eefects are done....and if that isn't the case its close...or I am about to sye...either way...hehe.</p><p>But using the doll once the mob gets to me seems tricky in that your casting for 8 seconds while being hit and losing health. And then you can be interupted and it is all fer naught. So all in all I still like to pull with the dolls.:smileyhappy:</p><p>However...I am no longer gonna be playing....this game is too dang addictive=fun. It takes away from family and such plus the time thinkin about it stragegy wise....so I am done as of this weekend...I lvled by Bruiser to 34 I think and that was that. had fun while it lasted but stripped my Zerker and Bruiser--->sold everything---->went to noob zone----->found a noob with no other chars and was at lvl 10----->gave her coin and rares to sell and 10-12 slot bags.</p><p>Y'all keep the faith now, y'here! And if it doesnt die fast enough can always mez, apply slow doll, re engage.</p>

Lol.  Pull with stamina doll.  Always.<hr></blockquote>Pulling with the Strength doll can be quite usefull to slow their melee speed down, then mez and debuff with the stamina (mit) debuff afterwards. Especially on tough single mob fights.</span></div>

It's only usefull for tough fights, in which case you'd be better off doing it this way IMO, non-tough fights doesn't require debuffing.</span></div>

<div></div><div></div><p>I guess I've never tried, but if you pull with the str doll wouldn't they just hit you anyway when they get to you and then just have more time to go between their opener and their 2nd hit?</p><p>I pull with the STA doll, when the mob runs towards me I sonic fist into it. It actually runs past me (due to lag maybe, I dunno) and as it is turning I pop iron fist. When I port back it is facing the other way and I take a step forward and start theough the CA/mez routine. If you're too far away when you teleport over you'll be too slow to keep up a good stun routine. If you're too close you just won't port.</p><p>I've noticed this doesn't work if I just sonic fist when they are standing there as they respond immediately. If they are running towards me I get a freebie stun in before they can get me. <div></div>Jezekiell what exactly is the difference?  Honestly, pull with STA you get mitigation debuff once they within range you chain stun dont give them a chance to hit you.  They *might* get one CA or auto-attack in before you get your first stun off.  Thats the only time they should *ever* hit you.If you pull with stamina doll first, you burn them faster, which is overall imo the best route.

<div></div>/shrug.  I thought the point you were trying to make is why you should pull with STR doll over STA.Everyone should know its not worth pulling with on weak stuff <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.  It might have been before they were interruptable on movement but now its not worth it.
