Question from an EQI2 noob.I just hit level 10 in Freeport. I've upgraded my weapons (maple cudgels), but not the armor? Any suggestions as to what I should be using? I'm still stuck in the stuff from the Isle and the armor vender in Stonestair has nothing for me.Thanks.<div></div>

<div>You level so fast at the early levels, that personally I wouldn't bother spending the money you have (and at low levels it's usually not much) on buying armor. Personally, I did quests for all of my armor in the early levels. O-gaming is a terrific website to search for quests for armor - you can search based on your level, and look for rewards in the slots you need. An added bonus of doing it this way, besides saving money, is that you will get experience for every quest you complete. You get most of the quests from the various NPC's in the cities or in the commonlands. If you don't want to search O-gaming, just start hailing the NPC's in town to see if they give you a quest - you'll be able to see the reward right away to find out if it's worth doing.</div><div>As far as weapons go - if I remember right you'll get a new weapon when you complete your bruiser subclass quest (it's been awhile, so maybe I'm wrong on this). Until then you can quest for one like you can for your armor, or maybe spend the money on just that (rather than on the weapons AND the armor). Fighting bare-fisted is always an option as well, especially at lower levels.</div><div> </div><div>Rainyn - lvl 52 Bruiser - Nek server</div>

<div></div>server not city , you are working too hard Col. anyway regardless of what server you should have your vest thingy from completing your class quest in a Lvl or 2 make sure you do the quest's given by Dunn Coldbrow in the Scale Yard you'll get reasnoble legging's from these that will last until you can afford something better.Maybe around Lvl 20 a good set of quest's from J.P. Fetterman in the crossroads as well will give you many choices and alway's hope for a good drop !<p>Message Edited by Zetnorr on <span class="date_text">01-27-2006</span><span class="time_text">04:39 AM</span></p>

<div></div>I just went to the local npc Merchents who sell armor....tailors....to get my 10-20 gear. was real cheap and though they added no power or strength add ons, they give decent mitagation for cheap. Then go out and do quests to replace them if you want....but fer the liitle amt. of silver it will cost fer a full suit from these nps, I would do it then quest. I wore that stuff til I got AQ armor pretty much. So just go into your town and look for the tailors npc's and buy away...ull be amazed at how much higher your mitagation will increase and this will help you stay alive while your out there lvling.:smileyhappy:
