<div><div>After finishing AQ5 last night I went to NFP to get AQ6 running and to my horror I see a fighters chest piece instead of a Gi...</div><div>After posting to the general boards asking if this is a bug in AQ6 and now feeling like an idiot after reading posts here and seeing they changed AQ6, can anyone 100% verify for me if Monks still get a Gi for AQ6?</div><div> </div><div>Is there any Gi that can be worn in the mid 20s for a Bruiser?</div><div> </div><div>Wow did I waste my time doing the AQ quests, the armor that comes out of it is horrible both stats and appearance wise.  Hopefully I will save the time of anyone starting a Bruiser to even consider doing this quest.</div></div>

<div>Thanks for the reply, now my next question is, how do I move my gold and items to the Q side when i re-roll a monk...as I understand it the shared bank only works for the same server same side?</div><div> </div>

If you're in a guild just ask a monk to buy the new AQ armor pieces (if he did the old AQ; maybe works with new one too, don't know) and sell them to you, I'll definitely ask a monk buddy the next time I play. Are the new AQ armor pieces definitely tradeable? Would suck if they were no-trade...<div></div>

<p>All the pieces of the AQ  armor so far have been no-trade so I'm sure the Gi is no-trade too.</p><p>Guess I have to bite the bullet and re-roll if I want access to actual Brawler equipment.</p><p>I have a guild in FP I'd be willing to compensate someone if they can recruit a new alt on the other side for me into the guild, I dont think this can be done alone or can it? </p><p>Also I havent used the guild bank, if I can find someone to recruit an Q alt can I just plop my gold and equipment into the bank and pick it up with the alt on the other side?  And how to the earn status points work in that case?</p>

Why would you reroll just because of armor that you're only going to wear for a few levels? I have all my old AQ armor sitting in the bank (hoping they'll let us build suits of armor at some point)...<div></div>

<div></div>Check the brokers for Steel Stiched Gi or Chain Weave Gi, without those you'll have to look like a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] in longjohns until level 30 and you can get Blood Drenched Gi.

<div>Ive never heard of the Steel Stiched Gi and it doesnt show up in the database, the Chain Weave ive never seen at the brokers.</div><div>That Chain Weave is only available from a quest in QH isnt it?  Or is the Steel Stiched an equivalant from the FP side?  If so where do I get the quest?</div><div> </div>

It was originally the bruiser AQ armor in Freeport. The quest reward has been changed. The Steel Stitched Gi was originally a reward that could be sold on the broker, as well. Its possible to find them out there, I guess, but they will become more and more rare.. </font><p>Message Edited by ShinmaRyche on <span class="date_text">01-09-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:34 AM</span></p>

<div></div><div>Ah ok that was the FP version then, well I havent seen any at the brokers nor have I seen any Chain weave.  I think the stuff is to popular for me to find/pay for, Im sure after word spreads that the new armor is horrid the price of the old IF you can get it will be outrageous.</div>

you wont find the Steel Stitched or Chainweave Gi for sale on any brokers unless its for some rediculous price like 2 or 3 platinum.Thats the one piece of armor that people who did the old AQ actually wear (and attunt) simply because its a nice GI and it has a nice look. Now that the Bruisers get a padded chestpiece (ugh) and the monks get Happy Fun Time Pee Pants, you will never see the old AQ on the market, especially the Gis.There ARE Gi's available though.  I think Bloodline Chronicles has one in the mid 30s and Splitpaw has one in the 40s-50s.  They are kind of rare though so be prepared to farm or group a lot....and when was the last time you did anything related to Bloodline.

<div>Actually I like the new monk Gi from the picture, the white looks MUCH better but the new one is a THOUSAND times better than the bruiser armor.  Im not sure if you have all see the bruiser armor or not.  I can post a pick tonight if you havent, of my Bruiser wearing pieces 1-5, I'm not going to bother getting the chest piece it will just take away from time starting up a monk.  The armor is basicallly just padded armor but its a brownish-greenish-grayish color with no surface detail to it.  As I was collecting the pieces I wasnt even wearing them waiting for the Gi at the end to put them all on.  After getting AQ6 running and seeing the chest piece was just a bland blob of puke colored cloth I put the pieces on and logged out before I was tempted to delete them all.</div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div></div><div></div><p><font color="#ffff00">I never did the AQ quests the first time around. Finding a group for them was just too, annoying. I eventually went back and did all of the quests, when i could easily solo it. I never attuned any of it, because i never had a reason to. I wasnt intending to sell it, because i was going to give it to a guildie, but they abandoned their Bruiser, and i was offered 3pp for the whole set. How could i say no... </font></p><p><font color="#ffff00"></font> </p><p><font color="#ffff00"></font> </p><p><font color="#ffff00"></font> </p><p><font color="#ffff00">edited because I R TYEP GUD!</font></p><p>Message Edited by ShinmaRyche on <span class="date_text">01-09-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:38 PM</span></p>
