Feign Death

<DIV>Anyone else find that our Feign Deaths fail way too frequently? I have adept 3 Stop Heart and it's labeled as 84% success rate to FD. My FD fails on me probably about 50% of the time. Normally I get multiple FD fails in a row, causing death while solo/exploring. Is this the case for everyone else? Would like to see if this is as annoying to others as it is me. Thanks.</DIV>

its teh RNG... Avoidance works the same way unfortunatly.  I have an adept 3 as well, it seems it fails more on me now than it did <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Yes it is failing MUCH more than it should be.   I have had as many as 13 failures in a row.  That's a bit extreme for just a bad run of luck.    I have NEVER rolled that many 1's in a row on a 6 sider when playing paper RPG's heh.  Nor have I ever seen that many 1's rolled when using a program to generate random dice rolls.

<DIV>well, theres hope, the tier 6 feign death at master 1 is 96% and it has failed on me, maybe twice out of a good 500.  feign death, for some reason, seems to work better while jumping and running away, (i.e. panicing) LOL.  maybe that's just my view on it though</DIV>

The T6 Feign Death is called Stilled Life, it scales 92% -> 94% -> 96%, from Adept 1, Adept 3, to Master 1. It's available at level 56.<div></div>

This is easy enough to parse.. Just get a few Monks/Brawlers to FD 100 times and log it. This will give a good idea of the percent to fail. I personally think it fails far too much for it's given percent. <div></div>

I can say this also. If u use FD against 1 mob it will most likely succeed. If u have like 10 mobs on u and try to FD the chance is much smaller to succeed. U do a check on each mob and if u fail a check on 1 of the mobs the FD fails. So its harder to FD if u have multiple mobs on u.

I've noticed that when FD fails, it REALLY fails. Like 3 or 4 times in a row. Rarely have I had it fail and work the next try. Most of the time on a raid wipe and I'm scurrying to save my gear, and the raid <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />     Seems to me it fails more on raid mobs than it does anywhere else. <div></div>

<P>Hi there! im a lvl 57 bruiser and still using stop heart adept 1 vs mobs lvl 56+ and i fail like once each 5 times i use the skill( even with like 15 mobs around me ) but i still manage to never die even when i fail twice in a row, the reason : my mouse Logitech MX518, you have 2 buttons on the left side of the mouse that can take you back up on your feet really fast so you can outrun mobs while you FD gets back up to use it again. This is so nice! Just a lil advice if you werent doing that already. I never had any problem with my FD even if its an adept 1 spell.</P> <P>Bruiser = tha best in tha west!!!</P> <P>Skyrak </P> <P>Everfrost Server!</P>
