I use the staff of enlightenment with a 20 haste aug on it. Until I can get some fabled dual wielders I think it is the best weapon for me. I tried respecing to open hand, but as the normal tank for my t7 group, i like to have my parry and deflection maxed. Once i get a pair of good (legendary or better) dual wielders, I'll give them a chance. Fyi, grizzlefazzle is one ugly staff and the attack animation on the monk looks like crap. Staff of enlightenment has the same damage rating, and is a bo type weapon, but you do lose out on the grizzlefazzle proc. In a labs run the other night I was consistently in the top 5 dps, behind the wizes, conjurors, and rangers.

I use the Stonestaff of Striking (30STR, 8AGI, 30STA, 102 Power, 125 Health, 5 Crushing, 4 Defence & 4 Parry - DR 100.9 Damage 106-246 Delay 3.5)

It has a nice long delay and a max damage of 246 so I can get crits well into the 3k's with it. I also have the twin calamities and this easily out dps's them.

With a good staff and the full wis line, I'm told you can do some wicked dps. That said, I've never tried it. If you haven't respecced too much before, I'd say go ahead and burn your freespec on going wis and maybe some sta or int. Try it out, see what you think, and if you don't like it after some time period defined by you, switch back to your current build, or try out 448 int/wis/sta. Gives you the crits and procs, but leaves out the defensive bonuses from each line and, of course, the ends of the lines. If you haven't augged your Grizzfazzle yet, go to AoAx2 and get yourself a staff of the flapping wing, or spend the money you would have on that aug on it. Pretty nice weapon there, and pretty easily attainable. If you can't scramble some guildmates for it, just look in 60-69 for people on that step of Claymore and keep doing it until you get the drop. Alternately, keep an eye on the broker- I don't know what they go for on your server, but I remember thinking they were omg expensive when I started shopping for my T7 weapons around 62. (After seeing percussion of stone M1 disappear from the broker for 100p though, and ice nova for about the same, I've got trouble figuring out what's expensive and what isn't.)

From my experience and the way the damage rating is set up atm No 2 hander I posses comes close to the dps of 2 comprably equipped duo wields. Granted my setup is 548 sta, 448 wis, 448 intel so I have only one 2 hander skill clicky but I suspect even if I had my aa set to max 2 hander dmg I'd still lose 10-15% of my dps easily let alone the stats and skills added to each of my 2 weapons vs the stats of a 2 hander. Don't get me wrong though, I'd love to see 2 hander setups so bigger, sicker damage that is more even with duo wields. Keep one other thing in mind, with my aa setup above a lot of what 2 hander junkies have for aa I do as well if they have mantis bolt maxed and crit % maxed.

Monk made video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtSEXEQi9to

Well my monk has the Vraksakin Claw Club and I don't think that any other weapon in the game can beat the dps I get from that weapon unless they are from EOF.

Vraksakin Club is the best DPS weapon for a monk, unless of course some new eoF weapon has been discovered that ive not seen yet.

There are also another couple of half decent ones, just look for a weapon with a decent DR that has a large gap between min/max damage. That will work well with the crits on the int line.

I use Grizzfazzle, but only because I'm going for a tanking build, and Grizz gives me like 300 hitpoints. If not for that I'd probably still be a STR-line barehanded monk - since I don't have much access to fabled loot - but if I went with weapons I wouldn't rely on Grizz for DPS.

Also, the Grizz Staff combat animation is lame
