I am a level 30 Monk, and im using 2 level 28 Dual Wield Maces...7-22 dmg, 1.9 spd, and 15.2 rating...With these weapons, it seems that its taking me way too long to kill an even con or blue con mob...Am i using the wrong type of weapons?90 str69 Agil55 Stam<div></div>

The type of weapon is really just a question of taste.Later on, some monsters are resistant to certain damage types, but that's not something you have to worry about for a long time. Some people do say that twohanders are worse than dual wielding though, but I don't know how much truth there is to that.</div>

perhaps something with 1.6 delay? The maces will most likely do more damage though

<DIV>any increases you can make to Str will not only improve your damage it'll increase to chance to land a hit and give you a larger power pool (more CAs) </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Damage rating alone is a basic approach to comparing weapons...its terribly confusing when comparing dw and 2h.  to the casual observer 2 dws own all over a 2h when comparing.  However, all weapons miss and your more likely to miss on at least one of the DW weapons when swinging 2.  Anytime ya only hit with 1 DW weapon you'll be behind in damage compared to a 2h.  DW does have its advantages though given enough strength, attack rating and against mobs lower in level the accuracy increases tremendously and the DWs own the 2H.   Procs are also a nice touch.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for different DW weapons faster weapons work better for our aggro proc (at least in theory) aside from that no real difference go with what ya think is best.  I'm more partial to slower stronger weapons for lets say the occasional shaman mob that might be warding partial damage off each hit for example.  There isn't really a BEST choice to go really</DIV><p>Message Edited by Xendo on <span class=date_text>06-27-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:36 PM</span>
