<P>i havent attemped any of the collect shards trials yet and i dont have 4th floor access but ive beated the kill 50 kill 75 and kill 100 with ease, had 9 minutes left when i finished the kill 100. </P> <P>i think the real challenge is just finding them all, once you learn the zone enough you can set a path for yourself where you cover the entire zone and wont miss any, if thats not the problem, one thing i like to do to help speed it up a little is tsunmi right before the big groups of mobs and ae them all, making sure to keep them infront of me so my repostes hit, and that usually puts them all in the red by the time tsunami wears off. Can kill like 9 at once doing that and it only takes like 45 seconds. </P>

<DIV>Bordom is hardly an issue with these things. they're quite fun, but they seem to be easier for a spell caster to root, nuke, have the pet intercept damage, and AOE things to death compaired to the mobs easily dodging melee attacks and combat arts.</DIV>

Granted I'm full fabled, I've done all of them except the 100 shards one, I just have horrible luck with drops and it always seems like I'm running out of time with around 80 shards. I'm ALWAYS, little exception, at 25% HP/25% power. I just keep pulling mobs, Blues two at a time. I wait for Crane flock to be up which helps me a ton, and Tsunami. Grab a bunch, AE etc etc. I don't use any potions, food or drink. I'm just a cheap person :p. But yeah, the hardest part is finding the ones who are hiding, but once you get the map down it's cake. It could be worse, we could have templar DPS :o. Oh, I also have 8 ranks of twirl and use a staff for sweep. <div></div>

<DIV>I also noticed the mobs can be placed randomly around the zone. I remember the 2nd time I tried the kill 75, the mobs weren't in the same places as I found them the first time.</DIV>

The mobs for the "Clear the whole zone" trials are always at the exact same spot. Just memorize their position, find the quickest path, and its no problem.

Using the Strifewing Bone Bo at 68, I was able to finish the first kill trial (50 in 30min) and the first collection (50shards in 30min). I found that the high damage and low speed of the strifewing meant much less riposte and actually came out with better health.Be sure and turn your haste off when not in combat for faster regen. However, I simply could not kill fast enough to kill 75 in 30mins. I had no problems finding the guys, but they were mostly 69 and no down arrows so I simply could not kill fast enough.I don't have the third floor access yet but I might be able to pull off 75 shards in 30 mins as long as they are exactly the same as the first one, if they get harder, like the kill trials, then I will not be able to kill fast enough.20 pepples every 3 days.<div></div>

I can get through the 50 with about 7 to 9 minutes to spare on the kill instance from 1st floor, depends if I miss some and have to go back and find them. I have tried both 2nd floor solo instances and I cant kill 75 or get 50 shards.

Not sure what AA line you have, but when I played in the first one I would round up like 15 at a time and use Crain Flock and they would drop like they were one mob.

I tried the 50 one last night and the hardest part I found was actually finding them. Give me a GPS tracker and we'll talk. I plan on trying to learn my way around the area.If you have devastation fist, you can use that to help a bit with timing. I havent attemtped the 75 one yet, and wont until I have a better understanding of the layout<div></div>

So if you hit twice per second, there will be 4 times as many ripostes compared to a situation where you hit once per 2 seconds. Thus using a slow weapon will result in less overall ripostes. Also when you use a slow hitting, high damage weapon, you will do more damage when you riposte since the riposte damage is dependant on the weapons autoattack damage. So with the bone bo and tsunami, the overall damage output is a lot higher.<div></div>
