<DIV>I have had my crushing skill maxed forever ----- however, II recently got one of the twin calamities and had to raise my piercing skill from 180 ish to max. OUCH!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My first question is - what is a good weapon to raise my slashing skill, I looked at the t7 brawler loot thread and most of the weapons that do slashing damage are still based off our crushing skill.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2nd question --- I'm going 4/4/8 stam, wis and int ............... I have been using staff of flapping wing. I recently finished the Soulspur quest and have been using Soulspur and the twin calamity 63DR .....what is the better dmg setup DW or flapping?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hereo 70 Monk Unrest</DIV> <DIV>Dredful 70 Fury Unrest</DIV><p>Message Edited by mr23sgte on <span class=date_text>06-16-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:44 AM</span>

<DIV>Hmm - I have a nice slashing dw, but can't remember it right now. Will check when I get home.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Flapping wing DR = 108.7, plus the nice AoE proc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Generally, you need the DRs of your two DW weapons to add up to ~15% greater than the DR on 2H to get the same damage, since the 2H misses less auto attacks due to casting timers on combat arts. You will also need to adjust for (1) any strength that is on the DWs, since the flapping wing staff has no str, (2) the procs on the DWs, (3) your AA lines and how they interact with your weapons (e.g. weapon specific attacks, increased damage from higher damage range due to crits, etc.)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm not sure EXACTLY how to account for the str, but would say generally that if you can get to DWs that add up to a DR of 120 with some decent strength on them, you are going to be doing about the same auto attack damage as the flapping wing.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Morrolan V on <span class=date_text>06-16-2006</span> <span class=time_text>11:26 AM</span>
