Greetings unarmed brothers!  I'm a former monk player thinking about coming back to the game after a long absence.  First let me say that I loved my monk when I was playing last year.  Even though he was only 25 or so I was having a ball.  Being a betrayed Dark Elf was just icing on the cake: ink blue fists flying in righteous vengence, what a cool RP character he made.Alas my girlfriend and several other real life companions dragged me back to WoW and my Tier'dal monk entered a state of permenant medititation.  Now we are both once again bored with WoW and I am trying to pull her over to EQ2.  So what should I know about the state of the monk now?  Particularly I'd like some advice and expiriences on PvP.  I've read that we are actually good PvPers but find this hard to belive, too much conditioning from EQ1 where melee meant death in PvP.  My girl will be a Fury, this much I know.  Seems like a Fury would be a decent partner with a Monk PVE wise, any expirience with this combo against others? Thanks for your advice.<div></div>

Monks really shine in PvP. With the changes to range damage and AA's, dealing with casters isn't that big of a deal. But if your woman wants to be a Fury (Evil only I think right?) you would need to be a Brusier to play with her.As for whats changed. Well alot has change in the game since the beginning. Your best bet is to read thru the old Live Update notes to get an idea.<div></div>
