Hey guys was wondering if someone could give me an estimated time frame from lvl 1-70 if i am a hardcore solo pve player? I play 9 hours a day weekdays and 15 hours on weekends.

It depends all on the basis of what your killing while your soloing. Heavy duty hard core 9 hrs a day and weekends would probably take you (estimated, and no way am I saying that this is 100% correct) about a month, give some take some. Not sure. Might have to wait till some hard core grinder can answer this question and relate on their personal experience and time frame it took them to level.Masuimi

9 hours per day lol zomfg as a warden friend would say . My advice would be to find some peep around ur lvl range and group with em, solo doesnt give that much xp loot is crap and after a while it becomes boring imo. Now with soe having revamped most low level dungeons i think it d be great to roam around there killing nameds getting phat loot (for its tier) and aa xp from disco, nameds etc.

Remeber that quest xp is stable, but combat Xp eats up vitality. You may wanna mix up some of your processing with an alt to rechare vitality to get more bang for your playing time buck with double XP from vitality, or do some crafting along the way for the same purposes.

Just food for thought....

hmmm wouldnt waiting for double Xp just make it longer cause then i wouldnt be playing my main therefore reducing the fun of playing him and trying to play another character? and if im going to be duoing witha friend which i might be that would slow us both down.

Well, like I said, it was just food for thought. If you're ammicable to a mind-numbing grindfest...yes, with all those hours to put into it I'd imagine it would be faster, but perhaps not by much as you'll be eating any vitality up that fast. With an alt you get a change of pace while your main *charges* and you get more out of the combat grind as the vitality lasts.

I guess that if the main goal is just to level up to the top as fast as you can, what you said would certainly be a way to do it. If you're talking about actually enjoying content & variety, I'd get an alt or look into crafting as well perhaps. Your friend cold also have an alt to switch to - you could have two pairs to duo with. Just an idea. Or just grind your brains out...hehe :smileywink:

Either way, have some fun with it and enjoy the ride. I wish I could have the playtime like that every now and then, I have a pathetic amount of playtime anymore. Enjoy it while you have it. Good luck!

hmmm tradeskills sound fun. ill have to talk to my friend about setting up a trade union type thing where i create a major part of the product and he creates the other part and then we find another person we can trust and go through the game with to create the final product and then we sell the product. Then half the profit goes to creating other things to sell and the other half goes into a fund for our gear or whatever else we need. well thanks for the help.

-Kelethix

Tradeskilling in the way you described cuts you and the other person off from Pristine & Discovery / Combination of New Item(s) bonus tradeskill xp. Sure you want to do it that way. At least make the full combine a few times, expecially if you never have before. And then do the tradeoff work in conjunction with each other.Masuimi

Yeah, that guy there has a lot of devotion and time put into the game, not to mention the hours. Cause I know some quests takes hours and hours to do. It took me 2 hours last night just to find the bones for the LLL HQ. So that is just a small example in the least.Masu

There is so much in this game to discover and learn and experience, it would be a shame if you just pummelled your way to 70. I just started a new Swashbuckler a month ago - I play 2-3 hours a night, 5 or 6 nights a week, take time to tradeskill, mentor down to help others, and otherwise waste time, and I'm still level 36 despite myself, and I'm trying not to outgrow quests and zones, but it is inevitable, even at my moderate pace.

Do yourself a favor, and slow down. There is much to enjoy, and you'll level up rather quickly along the way anyhow
