T6 Weapon choice

I am getting confused.Reading through all the posts, lots of information seems to contradict itself..... guess its down to update changes.So, what is the best thinking on weapon choices at T6? 2H? DW? What delays are good? etc.....Thanks in advance.Daae ThymeDE Monk, AB<div></div>

Discounting achievments there is no real advatage in either duel wield or two handed weapons.The only thing you need to be aware of is delay, with a monk's haste you should try to use weapons with a delay of 1.6 or greater.Other than that go for the highest damage rating.<div></div>

<div>When your going offensive and can use all your offensive abily's I would go with 2Hb.  You get better damage with a 1.8 delay staff, than two 1.2 delay batons.  Once in the 50's you should be able to hit 100% haste on your own if you have an FBSS.</div><div> </div><div>If your are going to tank I would use the lowest delay weapon as possible as you will not have the haste as you do when you are offensive. </div>

<div></div>Go for 2 rare crafted cestii. Delay is greater than 1.6, so you can hit the haste cap, you get the added stats of having 2 weapons, and most importantly, they LOOK cool..and I think you even get different animations for them (unlike batons etc)

<div></div>I have 2 dual-wield Cobalt Maces, a Cobalt Greatmace, and an Ironwood Bo Staff.I tend to use the bo-staff most often, but I go DW when I am in all-out offensive mode, since the delay on them is > 1.6 and I can crank out maximum DPS.  The Greatmace comes out when I am tanking and am not worried about haste, as it delivers really big hits and I don't get many reposites.BTW the Cobalt Maces, the duel-wield weapons I use, currently have a display bug that is "bugging" the crap out of me.  I made a post about it here:<a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=gameplay&message.id=49925" target="_blank">http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=gameplay&message.id=49925</a>I tend to avoid DW weapons with a delay less than 1.6, because I only use DW when I am in full haste mode and the lower delay (like 1.4) weps cut into my damage output.<div></div><p>Message Edited by AcidicBlob on <span class="date_text">03-28-2006</span><span class="time_text">02:37 PM</span></p>
