Unarmed Monk

<div></div><p>Hello to all.</p><p> </p><p>I am now patching EQ2 as I am making a comeback. I will play a monk and here is the big question. Is a totally unarmed Monk a viable choice? Or will an armed Monk always do more damage? I love the idea of a Monk as a master of the body and mind and he has no need for weapons as his fists are the ultimate weapons. In real game terms is this possible to solo/group as an unarmed Monk?</p><p> </p><p>I thank you for any info.</p><div></div>

<div>You might want to read FAQ's in stickies..</div><div> </div><div>But to say honestly, unarmed monk is naked monk at the moment.</div><div> </div><div>Fist wraps (also counted as weapon) if you wanted to look as unarmed, but still weapon in the end. Most popular choice is Duel Wield weapons which allows you double proc, double stats and such also. As unarmed you just like having very bad stat one handed weapon.</div><div> </div><div> </div>

While you still loose the stats you seem to make up for it in DPS.</span></div>

I use legendary fist wraps that are imbuned and i beat the crap outa stuff and look great doing it. imortant to have both imbuned to double the chance of that blue lighting streaking down and wacking the mob.<div></div>
