A true testament to the item team at EQ2.  The stats, sub t5, the ratio: one of the worst t6 dual weild ratios, the proc? o thats right no procs.  Lockjaw is a 6 day lock out, its the closest thing to a preexpansion loot instance (zone in kill named zone out).   The zone itself requires minimal clearing, and in all takes about one hour from start to finish.  The reward...   spiralguild.com  go check out the earing we got.   Aside from the fact the chest had only that earing + a root, empty.  Gone are the days of 6 day lock outs with decent loot,  Lockjaw is the equivlent of the angler.   Six day lockout with sub par loot.  The real loot so far? mia as far as i know. TDS has cleared 99% of the court of al'afaz (sp?) , the raid instance in shimmering citadel.   Know what we got?  50% master chest rate on named mobs in a 6 day lock out zone.   Yet again, half the items that droped, not even worth it, some ok items, a plate bp and forarm.  But the bp is < then the bp off the x2 champ in clefts of rujark. TDS also made our first venture into The living tomb instance, i forget the name atm.  Heres the summary...every 4 step random x4 traps spawn on you.  EVERY trash mob droped the same item....winterbite gear.  Druid only vt with PoS stats. The named? well we beat about 8 so far and got one master.   1/8 master rate on a 6 day lock out zone....  I just get the strong impression soe doesnt want raiders, they realize they are 1% of the palyer base , and thus anything raid related is pushed back for quests, graphics, tradeskilling.  You know, the 90% of the playerbase who never even sees the end game content.  Not being rude, but if the point of the game is tradeskill and do rinky quests, just remove raid zones, cause the effort put into them for the reward is pathetic.   Did you know one person has to sit outside the raid in the shimmering citadel instance cause theres no revive point in zone? Hm thats well thought out.   Or how about the ringevent in the south tower bugging and blocking the elevator to the final boss if your unlucky?   Even better how about raid mobs droping items with worse stats minus mitigation and ratio (for weapons) then t5.   Id much rather use an ancient combine great flail then lockjaws weapon. Go look at the reward for beating the 2 x4 dragons barakah and siyamak....thats right t6 legendary weapons....and 2 of em are dual weild pokers, not even one of the 4 is monk or mage usable. <div></div>

Agree 100%, raidind is very frustrating atm.

I like the 77 damage rating 2handed staff LJ drops, too bad itts healer only...  :smileymad:

Lockjaw is a very poor name for that mob.  If the mob had lockjaw... he couldn't bite you. <P></P>
