Where is the leather

I am a not quite but almost level 53 monk and I have been seeing very little leather armor drops (and rewards from questts) compared to all the chain and plate I have been seeing.  Where are good places to hunt for this type of thing.  Also what quests have good brawler armor rewards? <div></div>

same here, all my armor is crafted or HQ When will the Robe of the lost Circle being implemented PLEEEEAAAASE ! I am wearing a fine +6 agi/str cloth robe at this time. Better avoidance  but I loose 80 mitigation :/ a 43 lvl Monk  from Storm <div></div>

Oh good I thought I was the only one. I have been shopping the brokers for some upgrades since the exspansion and have found nadda.

<DIV>Nothing I have seen beats out full t6 legendary in all slots. From armor slots to neck and ring. The only exception maybe is the FBSS to maintain haste, but even the leather rare used crafted belt could easily be a replacement for that.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Very discouraging indeed. As far as monks go, a monk in full T6 legendary (even including weapons) is about as good as it gets. Sure, theres a few old world fabled items that still work - but thats old world. I've seen quite a few drops and quest rewards for leather.......  as long as you are into Wis....

The other night we were in the sanctorium and a monk item dropped! it wasn't monk only, but the name certainly said monk. Armbands of lei luong or something like that. treasured. 9 agi 3 wis some power and hp. no resists. a few less mit than the legendary t5 augmented stuff. I let it go to a fury. :p <div></div>

<P>There are some nice fabled pants, a fabled gi (lvl 5<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />, the gi of the ashen disciple, numerous boots with melee stats (including fabled with 15str/10agi), nice gloves from clefts (14str/14agi), some other nice tank gloves (wis/agi/sta) and some other various things as well.</P> <P>Oh yeah nice shoulders from one of the named in the war room.</P>

<P>Both gloves I mentioned are treasured, as are the shoulders, 2 out of the 3 boots, like 3 bracers I've seen (one is a quest reward) and one of the two gi's (the Ashen Disciple one is treasured).</P> <P>Its not all fabled.</P> <P>Leggings of Balance are decent treasured t6 LA melee legs, for example.  Cleftwatchers boots are nice too.</P> <DIV>Oh and the 14str/14agi gloves are called Dust Dervish gloves.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Look up Shoulder Pads of Midnight also.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Gaige on <span class=date_text>10-07-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:28 PM</span>

<DIV>How is the mitigation on those items Gaige?  From what i've come across the dropped/quested items have decent stats, but you take a pretty big hit on the mitigation.  The T6 rare armor has around 42 more mitigation per T5 rare piece, and most stuff i've seen drop in DoF is a little less than the T5 rare.  </DIV>

Oh and as far as the T6 leather goes, the only rare leather pieces i've seen have come from chests.  It's the only rare I haven't harvested!!

<P>Hmm mit on the gloves is like 202?  I think.  Compared to 230ish for my t5 fabled chest peice.</P> <P>I was checking the lvl 58 treasured gloves vs the t6 rare gloves last night and the mit was a small tradeoff, like ~20ish mit or less for most slots.</P>

i get to see someone put on or find a new piece of fabled plate or chain almost every day.  these ppl are killing the same stuff i kill.  just not seeing much for monks.  seemed that way before the expansion too.  you could get a fabled plate bp in an exp group in RV.  <div></div>
