For a weapon, I picked up a <a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/item.vm?itemId=12613" target=_blank>Truewind Staff</a> for about 5g; best damage that I could find that's usuable at level 30 -- most everything else was a good chunk less.  wis/int stats are more caster focused, but lots of +power is nice.  Seems to be a RoV drop.

<P>Hrm wish I knew how to link my char page so you could view it. Anyways I have imbued rare chest and legs totally worth it with the rare imbued cesti which I love. Still not happy with my other weapon yet, looking for oak or another hide to get another rare weapon made and imbued. Rest of my armor is the stuff from EL, misthide I believe with my dwarven work boots. I so need to replace thoseboots  though. Jewelry is mostly quested stuff, nothing really wonderful but all white to me at least. </P> <P>The prices on rares seem to be dropping spent 10 gold for one of the rare hides I got, harvested another and bought the other for 12 gold. If you supply the rare and the imbue potion shouldnt cost too much to get armor or weapons made. Good luck!</P>

<P>Thanks for all the suggestions ... i ended up buying some pristine imbued chest and legs that is leather based (cant remember the name said fighter 30) and a 2 handed staff with a DR of 32 or 34 it was late ... LOL</P> <P>made a huge difference and I ended up being able to finish 3 SP quests in about 2 hours ... the other gear I got from drops in SP for now.</P> <P>thanks again ... headed to Zek, EL or Feerott.</P>

You may want to consider buying slashing and piercing weapons. At your level you will likely be doing raids and epic NPCs and some mobs are immune to crushing.

<P>I have noticed with my l 31 bruiser that she is reunning into stuff that has certain immunictes. She is using imbued batons, which seem to hit about anything she has faced, however, other group members using T3 stuff are finding the mobs immune. Also when pulling with suirkens i see it a lot but thats caus ei have cheap suirkens, and really dont care how much damage i do on pulling.</P> <P> </P> <P>Ecamples of mobs where i have seen the immune message</P> <P>Ashland wisps (pulling with suirkens)</P> <P>Captain Ogof (warden scimitar unable to hit)</P> <P>Captain Gaer (same as ogof)</P> <P>Don't forget the Ethereal Fiend that guards Varsoon and Varsoon himself.</P>

can you get dual wield piercing or slashing for monk? could always just keep skills up like in eq 1 with a fist and blunt.

<DIV>Well there is a contested mob (dragon of some sort) that spawns on the hill behind the Oracle Tower in Ant that was immune to my staff. I got me some cesti and now I have no problem with hitting him.
