<DIV>With the purposed changes to AC that splits mitigation from avoidance we should be able to be more accurate in determining exactly how agility effects our avoidance ablities. When I get a chance after this is implemented I will try and crunch the numbers on agility again. I can almost break the 200 barrier to see if there is another cut off point like at 100. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> If any of the higher monks that can get 200+ agi do you notice how much defense factor it gives you?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>~Lorr</DIV> <DIV>House Archon</DIV> <DIV>High Keep</DIV>

<P>*I* want to see how much avoidance guardians/zerkers are getting with those 900+ shield factor tower shields.</P> <P>I *bet* our avoidance is barely better than thiers, if it is.</P> <P>Its going to be interesting to see how much more mitigation they have and where avoidance falls.</P> <P>Maybe we'll finally get our defensives beefed up if I'm assuming correctly.</P>

<DIV>I am only level 37 currently so I can not comment on the higher end game. Right now I take just about as much damage as any other equally level/geared . I know from reading that this changes drastically as you approach the high end and break into the upper teir of the game.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hopefully with all the new AC changes as well as the weapon statistic change and dps parsing we can determine exactly where we fall and will have hard evidence of DPS differences as well as mitigation/avoidance ones.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>~Lorr </DIV> <DIV>House Archon</DIV> <DIV>High Keep</DIV>

<P>well the thing usually, is if you compare,</P> <P>most equally leveled arent equally geared (as for plate classes that is)...its noticeable at the end game - but if you see a lvl 37. plate gaurd type with elite gear, you will notice a difference in your ability, trust me.</P> <P>i think they plan on doing it with these new armors. they will undoubtedly be class specific attatched to some quest or somn. it would be pointless to just attatch the look to some armor thats already in game because other classes will be running around in it without a doubt...</P>

My friend who is a lvl 43 guardian has been real helpful in helping me test his tanking ability. As a lvl 43 monk I can tank most non caster monsters that are ^^ and 4 levels below me (including named). My friend who is a lvl 43 guardian can tank ^^ that are 2 levels below him. The experience difference soloing between us is great as the blue ^^ give alot more exp than the green ^^. I have more AC than him when he does not use his shield and even with stone stance I get hit. It all boils down to his super high defense skill. I also have tested this with a trobadaur and my friend who is lvl 46 can buff his agility to 326 and he can solo stuff easy and never gets hit. Another trabadaur friend who is lvl 50 can tank cause he never gets hit. All this shows how sloppy the game balance is and how SoE rushed it out. (no wonder they dont want PvP). Just look at warlocks who are soloing ^^ that are 2 levels higher than them! <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> SoE just fix our deflection please. <div></div>
