<DIV>Does anyone see a benifit of using Swooping over Slumbering?  They are on the same timer and Slumbering actually hits with a slow movement and a slow attk.  It even does more damage.  I just got Swooping at 37, picked up the adept and think I might have wasted my money.  Does anyone else have any feedback on this?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Yenyang Angrydragon</DIV> <DIV>37 Ogre Monk</DIV> <DIV>Kithicore</DIV>

I had Slumbering at 30 and didn't like it. It did the same initial damage as the level 23/24 skill but had the attack speed debuff instead of the dot. I took the upgraded taunt at 30 with /respec and love it.

Because you are so unskilled. When you level up, it will end up being double or more dmg.

<DIV>Entirely possible - though it was depressing to take a training skill that was worse than the one it replaced, even if it did get better later.  The taunt is still a pleasing skill and is one that I will probably still use at 50, so I'm not regretting my decision.</DIV>

I took the taunt this time over Slumbering and I think it made me a much better thank for it. Being able to taunt 2 mobs in the encounter is a very nice blessing. Almost like having 2 group taunts which is our problem as monk tanks (think RE miners without an enchanter..). Like Gage always says... take the taunts.Kharza 40 Monk Mistmoore
