View Full Version : Prefix titles...
<DIV>They *are* in game, right?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I could swear I saw some wizard with a prefix title before his name, and then after he was a Relic Hunter, but I'm not completley sure.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone know? And if yes, how do you get them?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Ilina Moon</DIV> <DIV>38 Monkie</DIV> <DIV>Antonia Bayle</DIV>

Most/all of the current ones are from grinding enough guild wrists to get/buy a title from whichever faction you're working on faction wise.
<DIV>Oh, what a kick in the pants. :robottongue:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'll make sure to jump *all* over that. Eesh. Gotta stop being impaitent... It's a *young* game. Young. Young. Yes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Ilina Moon</DIV> <DIV>38 Monkie</DIV> <DIV>Antonia Bayle</DIV>

<DIV>Yeah I have a couple friends that are Pathfinders, they used to be Naturalists and I saw one other prefix I can't remember.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I believe that relics title is from 20 heritages completed.</DIV>
All I have seen is "Squire" and that's obtained with getting amiably faction with qeynos guards by doing [many] writs for them

<DIV>Aye. The prefixes come from doing enough guild writs for a specific faction in a city. From what I understand, you have to crank out alot, and I mean ALOT of writs, to get them. Each faction has different prefix titles too.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The suffix titles come from a few different accomplishments:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>- players with matching EQ1 accounts can choose a suffix with the name of their EQ1 server in it, such as "...of Veeshan", or "...of Bristlebane". </DIV> <DIV>- same thing with players from EQOA</DIV> <DIV>- "Hunter of ..." is obtained by killing at least 500 of a particular creature type.</DIV> <DIV> <DIV>- "Slayer of ..." is obtained by killing at least 5,000 of a particular creature type.</DIV></DIV> <DIV> <DIV>- "Destroyer of ..." is obtained by killing at least 10,000 of a particular creature type.</DIV> <DIV>- "the Treasure Hunter" is obtained by completing at least 5 heritage quests and speaking to the right NPC in your city.</DIV> <DIV> <DIV>- "the Lore Seeker" is obtained by completing at least 10 heritage quests and speaking to the right NPC in your city.</DIV> <DIV> <DIV>- "the Relic Keeper" is obtained by completing at least 20 heritage quests and speaking to the right NPC in your city.</DIV></DIV></DIV> <DIV>- "...of the Shard" is obtained by completing the Deception quest (I think)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That's all the ones I know of that are available today.</DIV></DIV>

It starts as "To Speak as A Dragon" then turns into "Fire and Ice" and then finally "Deception" I believe when you have to kill Darathar.</P> <P>Its long and involving, involves Nagafen and Lady Vox, etc.<BR></P>

<DIV>It takes 150 tradeskill writs (doing no other faction altering writs) to earn the first level of Tradeskill titles. I don't know if that relates into 150 adventurer writs (of one faction) to get the first level of archetype titles. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'd like to see in the future tradeskill class based titles and subclass based titles. Instead of my monk being a "Squire" it would be nice to have a monk-type title. They don't even have to creative, they could use the EQ1 titles if they pleased (Disciple, Transecendent, etc). I'd prefer to be something other than "Crier" for my tradeskill... </DIV>
