<P>all I have to say, is this. last night my 2 roommates, gf, and I were playing (20templar, 21ranger, 19bard, me - 21monk). obviously I was the mt being the only fighter. this is obvious because as a monk I'm supposed to be able to avoid/deflect etc. hits from my enemies. everything went pretty well, but there were 2 things I noticed.</FONT></P> <P>we were fighting the mobs over by caltorsis for my AQ and whenever my ranger friend got aggro he never got hit. while I required heals when I had aggro. at one point, he was able to take aggro of an entire group of greens to both of us and never get hit and kill them solo. when I tried the same my health was brought down to 25%.</FONT></P> <P>additionally we were doing more AQ quest in SH killing strongboxes. (this time we had a 21swash and a 21warden) I was mt again and on 2 occasions my I died and the ranger got aggro. we then completed the encounter, on both occasions, with the ranger having aggro for a good 5 times longer than I did before I died without ever going below 50% hp.</FONT></P> <P>now, there may be a GREAT explination for this. additionally, this doesn't mean I'm "ACK MONK SUCKS!! IM QUITTING!!! GAMESTOPPERRR!!!! I have noticed this as well, the rouges seem to be relly good at avoiding low level attacks. However they have no taunts and rely on there HO dammage to be from the rear.

<DIV>sorry, I failed to mention that the chest encounters (to our group of 6) were either: 3-yellow 2-yellow^ or 1-yellow^^ . so yes, the first group was nothing, but the second was marginally tough (as in I died twice).</DIV>

In addition the level 20 barrier seems to yeald extra attacking power, something green to 21 would be below the lvl 20. I have a friend's dirge who could solo ^^ blues at lvl 20, and he would end the fight most of the time without a scratch, at 27 he cannot do that now however.

I got some quarterstaves from RE which con even to me at 38, they are 20 - 70 dmg 1.7 second delay. Now, if you got a bard, zerker, or a chanter in your group you get haste. Whichs makes you hit pretty fast with the sticks. If you look at the low delay time weapons their damage is not quite as good as the higher ones. Cestiis are a good example, they have 2.0 second delay.

I used to have 1.5 on my oakwood batons, but these are prety high damage and give +6 str +6 agi each.I got two cerebus batons that are 1.5 that I can use when i get one more level.
