What is the best weapon to hunt for in the lvl rng of 50-55?

My wife just hit lvl 50, and we just decked her out in pre-nerfed cobalt, but now we really need to get her a new weapon soon, since her dps seems lacking (ie she loses tank a lil easy, so  we need to bump up her dps)preferably a slashing weapon, since her other skills are lowish<div></div>

<P>Weapons choice shouldn't have that much effect on the ability to hold aggro, a crafted weapon should do fine. Weapon choice and CA's have a large part to do with keeping aggro.  Aggro managment in my mind has always been 1/2 Taunts, 1/2 DPS. For the low 50s I suggest looking for some OK treasured items, or if you can get your hands on a rare crafted weapon, even better.  Once you hit 58 look for a Blade of the Bixies, fairly common drop in TT wich is quite useful untill you can find a better weapon when you hit T7. <div></div>

<div></div>Not sure if the quality of cobalt weapons are the same since the tradeskill revamp, but I used 2 handed exe axe (huge dmg, long delay) with zerkers haste the delay gets cut down alot, and when tanking just get a ironwood shield and cobalt 1 hander made.And also since you said other skills are low, but cheap weapons and build them up on green mobs, the skills rise very quickly<div></div><p>Message Edited by SlapnutsGT on <span class=date_text>06-21-2006</span> <span class=time_text>07:42 AM</span>
