Personally i think there are 3 other options:1) Alchemist - make your own app4 or adept III. +potions - very nice!!!2) Provisioner - make your own 3 to 5 hr high satiation food and drink.3) Woodworker - A less common tradeskill, hence you will be sought after. Make your own bow and shield + sell them. Also you can make totems (e.g. wolf, bat, etc) for personal use or sale. Why buy a horse if you can make a wolf totem and when u hit 45+ you can get a carpet as an upgrade!!!SHADOWSCREAM 55 swashie/56 jeweler GRONDAK 26 zerker/48 provisioner (Befallen)

i am a 60 armorsmith and if i had to do it all over again i htink i woulda gone alchemistalthough making my own armor was/is a nice bonus................its basically a one time deal per tier..............sure you can sell armor but sales go drastically down a month or 2 after an expansion launch.alchemist on the other hand you are able to make all your spells which will save you tons more plat then making your armor would have. also you are able to make your own potions which is a HUGE benefit imo...........i carry a bag of a variety of different potions on me at all times and i hit myself in the head everytime i gotta fork over the dough for them.provisioner is also a good choice but imo don't compare to the useage an alchemist potions would do for ya also the components for the good food/drink tends to run high on the boards and harvesting takes a buttload of timewoodworker allthough a good tradeskill to earn some cash will not do you much good as the others if your an active playerbottomline i suggest alchemist........hope i helped in your decision process

Yeah, if i wanted to do it over again id have chosen to be an alchemist. With all the raid tanking i do, i go through maybe 25 rare potions a week and it gets expensive. With all the rare spell making youd have plenty of rare loams (people dont generally ask for them to be retruned). I have a pocket alchemist that is level 50 but id rather spend time on my main. Ive thought about rerolling and going Guard/Prov, but wont cus by the time im finished Vanguard will be close and EQ2 will lose half its players, a ton of my mates are takin off. Provisioner is an excellent choice imo.Mordicus MadlitheAntonias Dragoons60 Zerker60 Smith (weapons)

go either jeweller (as it is the most neglected of all equipment and goes for a lot+make your own spells), armorer (goes for loads of money), alchemist (make your own spells), or maybe woodworker (shields and bows, but not really as profitable)

provisioner is overrated... just buy some food... and dont go weaponsmith as there are loads of better quest weapons, and you only get one weapon slot (2 if you dual wield)

So far i've leveled both a 60 provisioner and a 60 alchemist. Both seem to compliment me greatly. Obviously the food because of the sheer amount of money i save making it myself, and the alchemy for the ease of making my own adepts w/o having to rely on anyone else. My third crafter will probably be a carpenter for the weapon repair kits.
