Hello everyone- I am a new Berserker- First time I have ever played a tank class ( having a blast by the way ). I am curious as to this line of spells and others like it. Will this AE effect cause mezzes to be broken? I did a search on this and I found one mention of this spell not breaking mezzes, but the HO crushing anvil does. Is this indeed the case? I appreciate any help you can shed on this matter.

As far as I know the Crushing Anvil HO does not break mezzes but all direct damage AOEs do.

So that would mean that anytime I group with an enchanter I want to stay away from my AE attacks? And whatt about the spells I have on me that damage all in the encounter when I am hit (granted not everyhit, but a chance)- like blood rage? That would seem to [Removed for Content] me and not make me want to group with enchanters- am I wrong in reading this?

Aye m8, any direct damage cast by you on a mezzed target will break the mezz of that target. Its a real pain in raid situations as wel, alot of our High Damage Attacks are AE based, but still i love the fact that we cause uber amounts of group damage . I guess its something ya gotta live with atm .

So to be clearer, all AE based attacks will break mezzes so if a caster mezz's the target DONT ae or they will attack you again .

Vladnor The Berserk

lvl 60 Berserker, lvl 40 Armorer

The Odyessy

Butcherblock
