What Pris 2.0 weapon would people recommend for the maximum dps? The 1H sword that converts into the 2H halberd seems a good choice. I have the Pris 1.0 1H slasher. But I'm thinking maybe going the Pris 2.0 sabre DW would be better dps.Any thoughts?<div></div>

^ Actually it's considered a great spear since Shamans have the ability to use it as well.<div></div>
<div></div>ya, they just cant land a hit with it due to having no slashing skill.

<div></div>I really doubt it will have the ability to convert between 1h and 2h for long. Once everyone who wants a 1h slash has had a chance to convert it they will get rid of the option. Get the 2h if you like 2h not because it is switchable. There is no way it will stay like that.<div></div><p>Message Edited by AlawnGnome on <span class="date_text">02-15-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:15 AM</span></p>

Hmm now I'm confused. I thought DW did more dmg than 2H weapons now. I guess my way of thinking is outdated as I was an RGF weilder and looked for the best 2H weapon in DoF. But it seems DW weapons do more dmg now right? regardless of whether they have procs or not.Picking the 1H Pris 2.0 slasher is the safe choice but I want the power regen to be helping me in dps mode more than in tanking mode. I already have the Pris 1.0 1H slasher.<div></div>

<div></div>You do realzie that your 1.0 1 hander slasher is goign to be pretty worhtless in KOS I mean yes youwills till ge teh power regen but since youwon't be able to hit the mobs at all or for almost 0 damamge it won't help you very much because you wont' be generating any aggro from your attacks

I thought they changed it so it will still do damage.</span></div>

I just equiped 2 level 1 daggers from Big Bend that were grey to me and hit every single time against a caiman in sinking sands.<div></div>

who ever thinks you cant hit things with pris 1.0 (atleast in dof) is on crack. Im a DW zerker, my pris 1 is off hand and i can put out over 1100 dps on large groups in GoAA.

Pris 1.0 hits any DoF mob unless they are slash immune. My RGF and other T5 Fabled's will hit any mob as well. Granted they don't do as much dmg as T6 weapons, but they hit the mobs just fine. Heck I was dmg'ing Terrorantula with the Bug Zapper weapon.Obviously picking the 1H Pris 2.0 slasher is a good choice, but honestly I'm tweaking my zerker for max dps and do not intend to MT on raids. Shame the 1H doesn't switch between a 1H and DW.<div></div>

When raid MTing I DW, put on my cold-forged helm and boots + buffs to get really high parry numbers. On all yellow mobs this works WAY better than a sheild because i parry way more than i block. On orange cons the sheild has to go on. If you plan on MTing alot and have a decent raid set-up and decent gear (which if you are beating the Godkind I'd assume you have) then I'd consider taking the DW.Our two guardians tank every zone except 4th floor PP:R with DW and it rocks.Gorethok Jigglebelly60th Berserker of CrushboneLeader of Elysium<div></div>

<div>Well even if your the MA and you need a shield on. you can use the Internatinal Guard tower shield that gives +20 haste to help make up for the lack of DPS from the 2h or duel wield. Granted the shield is T5 and has like 720ish Shield factor, but as the MA you can afford to do this cuz the MT will get aggro back quickly. your just there to make sure no one else pulls the aggro. </div><div> </div><div>side note , the Shield does not stack with the haste belts (i think that sux!) I thought you were aloud to have one haste item for jewelry, one haste item for weapons, and one haste item for armor. but i guess they changed it or something cuz i have them and they dont stack.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> Myself I think im gonna pick the Halberd.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Let me get this strait. If you pick the 2h Halberd you can switch it at anytime to the 1h?? </div><div>Is it a bug? or intended to work like that? If it does work like that and is suposed to work like that. WOW that is freakin awsome. I would love a weapon like that. Then you could use the 1h when MT or MA then when you are DPS you can use the Halberd. What an awsome ability! (if im understanding this correctly)</div>
