<div></div><div><strong>Question # 1.</strong></div><div> </div><div>Ok im new to Eq2 and im planning on making a Berserker when the pvp servers starts up.</div><div>Ill use him to tank for my group but i also want to configure him for as much dps as possible since ill be playing on the pvp server.</div><div> </div><div>Ive read up on the class but i havent decided if im going dual wield or 2h yet for Dps, ill use axe/board for tanking, but im thinking about the times i need raw dps in pvp.</div><div> </div><div>Ive seen proc's mentioned on the 2 handers, but wont those proc's go off  more often on dual wield ?</div><div>Also adding the fact that we have berserker rage that gets triggered when we hit and when we get hit, wouldnt DW land more hits and have a greater chance of triggering berserker rage than a 2 Hander?</div><div> </div><div>I feel like im missing something here, because alot of people on these board's swear to using a 2 hander, but i really cant see the advantage to doing that?</div><div> </div><div> </div><div><strong>Question # 2.</strong></div><div> </div><div>How do i configure my Berzerker to do as much DpS as possible ?</div><div>Weapon, Gear etc etc....</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>I would really appriciate if some veteran Zerkers could answer my noob questions :smileywink:</div><div> </div><div>Thanks.</div><p>Message Edited by Torgrimm Jarl on <span class="date_text">02-12-2006</span><span class="time_text">02:25 AM</span></p>

2 handers and duel weilders will proc the same amount, whether its a proc on the weapon of a proc off a buff. They did this so dw would not be a hands down advantage. As for overal damage, both are pretty close. 2 hander used to be better hands down, but they made a change. I would use your preference or what ever the best weaps you can get your hands on. Another recent change was making the reposte rate the same so dw would be ok while tanking.

Pvp is probably going to be very situational, especially for a zerker. But for raw dps youre best of with as much str as possible and 2h/DW with huge damage rating and/or procs.<div></div>

<div></div><div></div><div>So weapon procs over time and not on hit ?</div><div> </div><div>Im confused.</div><div> </div><div>Still if thats the case, wont the DW get more berzerk mode because you hit more ?</div><div> </div><div>And lastly, how much impact does strenght have on DPS ?</div><div> </div><div>Thanks.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Edit:</div><div> </div><div>New question...</div><div> </div><div>Does anybody use a swap weapon macro ?, id love to have a macro that i could use to swap 1h/shield to dual wield.</div><div> </div><div>And are there any good UI's i should know about ?</div><div> </div><div> </div><p>Message Edited by Torgrimm Jarl on <span class="date_text">02-12-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:59 AM</span></p><p>Message Edited by Torgrimm Jarl on <span class="date_text">02-12-2006</span><span class="time_text">09:42 AM</span></p>

<div></div>I thought the proc formula something like (Attackspeed/3) x procrate, although i heard they recently rebalanced it again. At least based on those principles, the proc rate with slow weapons is far superior to that of fast weapons, considering that combat arts erase any attack speed the item might use. Its not as large an issue for berserkers, since the slowest weapon i've ever seen is only 3.8 seconds for melee, and 7.0 for ranged, but i recall it causing ranged attacks to proc on almost every single hit. Although, dual wield weapons have strictly better raw dps, if you were to compare weapons of the same tier/rarity level.
