<div></div><div>All right - so far I've played a Dirge, a Wizzy, and briefly an Inquisitor way back at launch. Wizard was fun. Dirge I did not care for. Inquisitor was ok but *shrug* got a bit boring - of course everyone has a class they like and swear by, so it's not a knock to Dirges or Inquisitors or anything like that.</div><div> </div><div>I rolled a new Iksar warrior who is just about to hit 19. I'm playing with a RL friend and sometimes my spouse (who is a 20 SK atm) - my friend is going assassin. We duo all the time and have a lot of fun so far - of course <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> it's just the Commons.</div><div> </div><div>My spouse played an Iksar zerker while I played my Dirge and we seemed to do pretty well, considering. The only problem is he's not huge on being a MT all the time and I really just didn't like Dirge that much.</div><div> </div><div>So my question is basically this - for two (and sometimes 3 ) people playing together quite often, is Zerker/Assassin a pretty decent duo? Or should I go Gaurdian? I know that the usual meat and potatoes duo is always warrior/healer but she's just come off a 2 year FFXI run and is sick of being in the caster role. Edit: I've just come off an on-and-off year long run of WoW in which my main was a Hunter, though in FFXI , my main job was a paladin. I've always liked tanking - wondering also (since I haven't played for 6 months and I know huge combat changes have been made) are Zerkers still decent tanks?</div><div> </div><div>Thanks in advance for the replies.</div><p>Message Edited by Kaitar on <span class="date_text">01-20-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:33 AM</span></p>
