<div></div>I'm having trouble deciding which heavy armored fighter I want to be.  I'll be Freeport aligned so it's either Shadowknight or Berserker.  Can anyone tell me the ups and downs of the the berserker class? Thanks in advance.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Jujoo on <span class="date_text">01-11-2006</span><span class="time_text">06:44 AM</span></p>

Everthing I read said Guardians can't do any damage.  And while I understand I won't be doing the MOST damage, I'd like to be able to dish it out.  If Guardians CAN in fact dish it out, I guess you just made the choice a little harder.I'm looking to be a heavy armor tank, but I'd like to be able to solo if I had to...without it being too painfully slow.<div></div>

<div></div><i>"I'm looking to be a heavy armor tank, but I'd like to be able to solo if I had to...without it being too painfully slow."</i>Berserker is a good choice for you then.  Not that SK is bad either.  I'd say either one is good if you're looking for an offensive heavy tank that can solo pretty well.  So you really just need to decide on what suites you the most based on the types of spells/ca's that each class gets and their RP value.  Zerkers are neutral and SK's are purly evil.  In all honesty though I think SK's might be a bit more suited for soloing since they get FD and evac.  But on the other hand many people view Crusaders as being better support tanks than MT's so if you're looking to be MT all or most of the time when you group the Berserker might be a better choice for you.<div></div><p>Message Edited by infernus006 on <span class="date_text">01-11-2006</span><span class="time_text">10:15 AM</span></p>

As a guardian there are circumstances were I can do a lot of damage - fights that go on for a very long time.Soloing is usually painfully slow, so it does not seem the right choice for you.<div></div>

I have a Guildy who solo'ed his Zerker from 1-60, he did it very good time to and I have been doing well with my zerker solo (mostly duo with Templar) so I would lean twards Zerker, the HP regen is nice and teh ability to tank is great or switch to a DPS is also nice.
