Lol, i had the same reaction recently when i hit 50.  Its one of the best so far.

The best part is that by 58, Rampage will look like chump change. At 58 you get an ability called Open WOunds. Every melee hit you make has a 100% chance to proc across with full AOE damage (whether it's in the same encounter or not). This is a timed buff so there is no stopping after a certain amount of procs like Rampage. The best part is when you cast Rampage, followed by Open Wounds and then attack a group of mobs. You hit one mob, and Open Wounds proc, for every hit that Open Wounds adds, Rampage procs on each of them. Admittedly, Rampage gets consumed quickly, but those first three seconds is enough to put fear into even the fearless =) Stacking Rampage and Open Wounds, I was able to drop many classes in a duel within 5 seconds. A paladin just a couple levels lower than me (thinking their heals made them uber) dropped in 3 seconds flat... literally. <div></div>

<DIV>Yeah, the best way to make use of Open Wounds & Rampage is right before using them both equipping a weapon like Royal Great Flail (With a high proc % & extremely high auto attack damage).  Its pretty sick using the two together and you can wipe out tons of stuff really fast.</DIV>

<DIV>Also if you don't have open wounds yet try useing Rampage with Frenzied Blows line. if hits 3 times that 3 procs off right away. Destroyed a 59 monk when i was only 58 at the time in under 5 seconds. I tend use open wounds though about 90% of the time with it unless panning my battles. <P>I completely agree its an awsome skill especially at Ad3 or higher. I truely enjoy using Rampage with Open Wounds (Ad3) like most listed but when I am grouped with my normal group, I am buffed with T6 version of Fire Seed and sometime I will add Cold Retribution (barbarian racial trait) while I am Duel Weilding and use it on many Mob heroic encouter. All I can say is all I see yellow damage numbers every where and everything is dead usually before anyone can get a spell off.</P> <P> </P> <P>And quick answer to the post above, from what I have noticed Open Wounds is more effective of either 1h or 2h since the effect is a 100% chance to hit with primary weapon and xx % of haste. </P> <DIV>Burlap</DIV> <DIV>LVL 60 Barbarian Berserker</DIV> <DIV>Permafrost Server</DIV>

<P>HEHE - At level 60 Rampage is still my main "let's do some real damage" ability.  What's nice is it stacks with another new ability I aquired ( Lv58 - forget atm the spell name ) that gives a 50% speed increase and a 100% chance for single hit mele to become "frontal AE" hits for 30 seconds.  I have never seen mobs go down so fast.  All my previous dissapointments with zerker nerfs have faded to dim memory with my "post-50" damage capabilities.  Now I just have to remember the ability name that does up to 1500 damage <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  </P> <P>Gallant<BR>Server: Everfrost<BR>Guild: Defenders of the Flame</P>
