When are these melee changes going in to the game?

I have read many post on upcoming melee class adjustments and wondered when this would be taking place? I am most interested in the berzerker role and as I duo all the time with my wife who is an Inquisitor it makes sense for me to go for a DPS edge. I am however RL friends with some folks who are in a raiding guild and will be joining them shortly. Guardian vs Berkerker thoughts fill my head alot lately and these changes are unclear to me as to when and why they are going in to the game. Can anyone shed some light on this? The people I asked ingame were unfamiliar with these impending changes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Many thanks</DIV>
