Not me.I took Cain's Sudden Strike as my lvl 20 Training choice and I much prefer its Interrupt over the chance-to-Berserk-if-the-mob-dies-while-the-CA-is-active of Coup De Grace. When Cain's goes gray I'll consider switching to Coup, but not until then and maybe not until Rupture.

It's not on any of my hot bars if that says anything. If anyone has some reasonable reasons why they use it I'd love to know about them.

Coupe de Grace isn't really usefull. I use it only when I'm soloing group mobs just for the chance to go berserk. Fighting in a group its not very usefull, at level 40 you have certain skills which grant you the chance to go berserk. And often you just don't have the time to watch the mobs health going near the end, casting Coupe de Grace in time before the mob goes down. Well, to summarize: Useful when soloing in groups unnecessary

It's a quick casting sword icon for HO's. That's about all I use it for.

so....i see that the real strength is to use it when it will be the COUP DE CRACE.....lol....now i get it!

i really didnt before..i thought it was just a name. silly me. so...ill have to check to see wut kind of damage it does in just a normal strike to see if its worth using it as a regular combat art. But thnx fer the good input. Greatly appriciated.

Pnaxxy

Yeah I dont use this one unless it is to complete an HO. Never really seemed like it was worth the power spent. I guess if you time it just right so that it is the hit that kills the mob somethin or another happens, too much thinkin for me.

The timing it on the kill isn't that picky... I use it all the time just some random time before the mob dies and in multiple mob fights I do like that extra zerk. You do not have to use it right when whatever you are fighting dies.

Personally, I only use it to forward HOs when soloing. And that's only if my vicious swing, maul and rash advance all whiff. It's a pretty obsolete skill imho.

Bjoern

If you can get lucky enough to get the random % to go your way when its triggered on the wind down icon and the critter dies you get a new icon. It stays up for about 2-3 mins and it causes you to berserk every single time a critter dies. When I looked at this a couple of months ago (based on about 70-80 samples) I saw this happen about 1 in 10 times.

Now the fun part is if you can do that again when that second icon is up...that used to be an interesting *feature*. It used to be that that second icon would stay up until you zoned . Now I bugged the crap out of this but based on what contempt SOE has for /bugs and this forum I'm sure its still broken.

It's not going to increase your DPS if you use it as a normal combat art, and even if you time it right, it's effect may not stack on a higher berserk that's already up. I still like the name, but eventually stopped using it and removed it from my hotbar.
