best weapon youve come across

This is the best weapon i have looted, i was lvl 34 or so in Runny Eye and my group killed the chef and we got a master chest to drop a nice 2 hander, cant wait to use it 2 levels to go.  DPS rating is at 55.5 and a 100 dd proc http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/items/MessSergeantsCleaver.php <div></div>

Saw a shadowknight running around with a nice looking fabled 2 handed sword, Anc'kar sword of the whistling wind, damage rating of 59 and the proc was a 17-19% attack speed buff, a more uber version of monsoon. <div></div>

Prolly Mess Sergeant's Cleaver that Zexs mentioned, there's other weapons out there that are quite similar to this one Also Drayek's Axe of Frost is pretty good, dmg is bit higher than in Cleaver with 0.2sec more delay, same dmg rating tho, 55.1, better stats but without proc. I did some parsing with these 2 axes on 46lvl solo giants at 50lvl, and Cleaver had approx 10 dps more than Drayek's axe But theres better weapons available from master chests, just haven't come across any yet <div></div>

<P>When tanking I love to use my Screaming Mace. When combined with decent food, and GEBs you have an endless supply of power which increases your DPS more than a higher damaging weapon. And I mean endless. Because a lot of our skills share the same timers I can literally spam all my specials and never run out of power.</P> <P>When I am not tanking my best weapon is the monsoon so far. I also have imbued pristine fulginate weapons for when we raid resistant mobs and such.</P>

<DIV>I use Glittering Claymore too.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I took the dps decrease versus a weapon that procs because of my role in my guild.  I am not the MT, and find that weapons with procs (like Hierophants Crook) cause me to steal aggro much more commonly than a weapon with no proc but higher damage (hence the Claymore).  I don't really go for weapons with haste because with all our spells, and FBSS, we have got to be capped anyway.  I mean Tides of War and Destructive Rage give everyon 60% to start, then you add 15% from FBSS, I don't know what the hardcap is, but with a Berserk proc, I'm imagining you are getting pretty close to it there.  So yeah, Claymore is nice, I imagine when I get a prismatic I will use that for my attack, and for piercing, well, I don't know, I'll see if heart of fear offers a 2hs piercer.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Cyonide Wolfpaw</DIV>

<P>I have a Royal Great Flail and its a pure hate factory.  The stats as listed on EQ2 players are:</P> <P>Damage:</P> <P>155-465</P> <P>Delay:  3.8 Seconds</P> <P>+10 Int, +14 Str, +8 Stam, +14 Wis, +67 Health, +69 Power</P> <P>Proc:  12% Chance to do 150-288 damage (?  Not sure about this number)</P> <P>I'm working on getting my prismatic greatsword of the scale and hope to have it in the next two weeks, but this SOB is a monster.  I can regularly churn out 200-300+ dps in any group and 400+ in a good group.  If you want "THE" crushing berserker weapon, this is it.  Reason being its chance to proc on a toggled attack (frenzy, etc.) is close to15%, to give you an idea, a prismatic has roughly a 5-6% chance to proc on an attack.  </P>

<P>Hey, Im a 50 berserker on Steamfont and what i have found to be quite nice for dps when you're not tanking raids are: Prismatic Greatsword of the Scale and the Sharlian Maul. Sharlian maul is nice, its a 55.1 dmgrat and it procs for about 130. I'd much rather have a Royal Great Flail just because those are the definition of a beast, however id much rather use the PGotS because of how often it procs and how fast it is with our haste. When in my raid group my normal damage hits are doing from 250-310 on a normal hit and spamming fast allowing it to proc alot. Of coarse this is with shaman and bard buffs. Even spamming attacks and such (not using anarchy) our guardian, skamp, 50 guardian, seems to keep agro off my quite nicely. He uses the 1hs prim. or the screaming mace on raids. </P> <P>Id recommend an ebon imbued greatsword until you get a master or primmy. Also please dont DW, your dps blows [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] if you do from what i have seen.</P> <P>Just my input on what i would suggest for trying to get in the future: PGotS and RGF. If you're in the mid 30s and you have a chance at Coldtooth in TS I would do everything in my power to get a shot at em. I was lucky enough to win The Cleaver of Doom http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/items/CleaverofDoom.php I'm 42 and still using it, thought there is probably better out there for me now. The proc is Ancient Glyph of Striking (or something) and hits for 150+ at a rate of 10%.  It's a monster and has allowed me to solo mobs I would normally have no business taking on. For a mid 30 berserker this is (IMHO) the weapon to own. <div></div>
