<DIV>I am really interested in seeing what kind of DPS numbers you Guardians out there are experiencing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am not looking for exact analysis. Just ball park figures.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For Example:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Currently I am in mostly mastercrafted, fully adorned in legendary and common adornments using a ancient velium rapier. Currently have 71 AA with STA line fully filled in and just earned my 10% extra double attack in the guardian tree.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>On heroics where I start the fight with all CA refreshed, I can get to 1200ish DPS for the fight.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My average DPS regardless of CA being refreshed or not is hovering around 500 to 600ish DPS. I am ALWAYS in defensive stance. I will be experimenting with the offense stance tonight.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am not interested in hearing about raid tank builds and we shouldn't be doing DPS. I am a group tank and very rarely raid anything more than x 2 epics.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am interested in seeing how I am doing versus the general guardian population in terms of DPS. Tanking and resists, I could care less about for this thread.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Allurana</DIV> <DIV>Blackburrow</DIV>
72aa's str/sta and i went down block line for blocksoloing the kobolds in kaladim for pages in offensive mode, my avg dps is 800, sure it'll spike to 1200 or 1k, whatever but my avg sustained dps for 30mins is about 800. these kobolds are only 60^ so not strong, i'll throw in the 60^^ gobbies too if they're up and entrance is empty.off stance/proc rings/cloak/melee crit stuff(drink mana potions and beholder eye and mana stone too to keep on killing) and i maintain 72haste/60dpsif i'm not MT in raid, i'll probably get either an illusionist and some caster who can cast a proc on me, i'll do under 1k or a bit above 1k, well i make the parse and sometimes barely, you know when it just cuts off your name =poh most times i wish i'd taken the proc earing instead of the healing one heh.oh should be doing more dps once i do the double attack 10% line, that'll add significant dmg. how much? i have no idea i'm such a slacker now i don't forsee gettting 20 aa's in the next month very fast, fabled mt, betrayed from zerker, so don't have relic bp/legs which would add to dps too(lessen the timers)<div></div>

Buckler with max double attack should be doing 1200 average, with 1600+ occasionally. Depends of course on the groups and weapons. Having a 3-peice dirge spec'd for CoB certainly helps. Generally i dont pay attention to my parse. As long as the mob stays on me, and the dps can go full out. I figure i'm doing my job.<div></div>

<DIV>I am down the str and int line for the warrior tree. Not real sure in groups dont parse all that much but most raids I parse 600-800 sometimes a tad higher depends on the zone. That is being the MT mind you. Now I had some real fun the other week a group of guildies went down to Silent City for one round of the rings events down there to see if we could get a few named for AA. It was myself, a coercer, a defiler, a inquisitor, a brigand, and a warlock. I went offensive stance with Pride's Edge and was getting 1500 regularly and a few 2k plus parses. Granted these were 60 to 62ish mobs but none the less epics and 2+ min fights. Just good old sustained auto attack 3k hits. Was great fun.</DIV>

<P>Well, I have 100AA full total defensive and if i have a coercer/dirge in group i can get to 600 - 800. If i only have a dirge/assassin/swashy i get to 400 - 600 DPS.</P> <P> </P> <P>(Pretty nasty huh?)</P>

<DIV>91 aa's, warrior tree went down str and agi. eof aa's went slaughtering and the aa line for increased moderate + decreased timers on rescue and reinforcements. As raid MT i usually put out 750 to 1k dps a fight, in defensive stance.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Kleever on <span class=date_text>01-29-2007</span> <span class=time_text>05:36 PM</span>

As a level 69 dwarf guardian with 66 AAs I can shoot fireballs out of my [I cannot control my vocabulary] for 80,000 point nukes. My DPS techniques always amazes people.<div></div>
off tanking in raid, dps spec'd w/ coercer(maybe a conj for proc) in group avg 1300-1400dps w/ same aa's as posted above,(maybe i got 1 aa this week? lol)<div></div>

How are you guardians parsing 800-1k dps non stop on raids? I can spike that high sometimes, but not commonly. My typical raid MT group setup is templar/mystic/dirge/swashie/me and either a druid or paladin. I'm str 4/4/4/8 and sta 5/8/8/8 with some EoF AP's in slaughtering and taunts. I'm lucky to hit 800 ever. Wearing mostly relic/doomrage, Dragonrib club/Frostwrath, and iron plate shielding... are you guys just that far ahead of me in gear?<div></div>

<DIV>depends on your group make up. i usually have defiler queezy dirge warden and coercer in my group and avg parce is about 1200, sometimes spikes to 1300 sometimes 1100 but it always stays around 1200 range. it has a lot to do with dps buffs queez and coercer gives and the crazy [I cannot control my vocabulary] dps spikes from dirge. also the avoid is so leeet buckler reversal powning everything. if you slap a masterstrike then u're off to 1500s range. never even have to worry about taunting hehe dps does it all for u. </DIV> <DIV>i did reroll with this patch tho to get extra avoid. hehe i mean it's nice to bump out dps like carzy for agro control but it's not so sexy losing 6% avoid. so i'll have to taunt once again =(</DIV>

i don't use the bucker line, but generally i have templar, defiler, warden, coercer, and dirge in group with me when i'm raid mt'ing. With that setup i am generally around 1k. without the dirge i jump between 700 and 900 depending on the fight.

<P>Ok maybe its just me but I got the impression the original poster was asking about your own dps... not what you can achieve in a group. Even if they weren't talking about solo dps it still seems to make sense to answer the question in that way. Groups are always going to vary so I don't see how comparing dps with buffs from other classes will tell what they want to know.</P> <P> </P>
mt w/ buckler i'm doing lows of 1300 and highs of 1700, in raid. my avg w/ buckler mt is 14-1500. W/ everyones ds, and dirge dps and apply poison, it's really all about the procs when your MT'in.<div></div>so to cap offsolo, dps spec 800dpsofftanking raid 1300dpsmt in raid 1400dps

<DIV>I never parse myself solo. On the other hand, raiding with: Guardian/Templar/Warden/Defiler/Assassin/Coercer as our usual set up, and 4/4/8/8 Sta, and 4/5/8/8 Int, I'll put out anywhere between 800-1400 on a raid. Usually 1000-1200 consistantly. Although I've spiked up to 1600-1700 on shorter fights. Bucker line wins in the end.</DIV>

Are these numbers EXT DPS or DPS, and if the Guard is MT will effect EXT due to him being able to engage earlier. I would say 1200dps is [I cannot control my vocabulary] good since I see a lot of dps classes in that range. I would be very impressed if I seen a guard bust that out, then again our two guards are for tanking and off tanking, so I don't see them trying to dps.

1000 with a tower shield?? I thought that would only be possible through the Sta line. More details, please!

A huge part of DPS is group makeup and when to use which CA's. Critting a Flay on a fully debuffed mob will return some nice numbers <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

1k with a tower shield is not that big if ya thinkg about it. Str line with max crits, 10% double attack from eof tree, mayongs hammer. 21% double attack with a tower with a badass hammer that procs a dd plus adornment. Add in some dps buffs and you are golden.

My highest parse (one fight) was about 1980dps in labs on a lvl 70 mob, this was with my current spec (STR&STA). Nowadays I am parsing around 1-1.5k with buckler but witout a dirge in the MT group (don't have one atm) and just before with a Dirge I was doing average 1.3-1.7k on most trash fights and around 1-1.3k on harder named.
I usually parse around 1000-1300 with a tower shield and 100aa in MT group. Solo I can hit around 850. Group always fluctuates cuz I don't group with the same classes everytime.
<p>Straight up autoattack for me is right at 490 dps.</p><p>Solo I usually run 650 or so, raiding I'll maintain nearly 900 when not MT, 1300+ when MT. These are all under ideal circumstances, most times it's a tad bit lower.</p>
in raids, off tank full dps now doing between 1400-1500dps consistently (i only don't get on the parse when we have multiples, cuz of the aoe ppl heh), str plays a big factor btw it seems. i did just get all my ca's m1(stupid hard to find t6) so that might be a factor too, still str/sta and dps/stalwart on guard tree. can't wait for 10more aa(will get the 10% double attack) lu32(will have increased autoattack) and a better weapon(shadow axe or vymm sword aren't ideal imo) Once we get that respect i'm gonna test out non buckler, and go 2h for off tank dps. gotta make that runeblade look good again somehow.
