My guess is that it adds 10.0 * weapon speed to the damage for your autoattacks, possibly modified for diminishing returns.

DPS buffs (AA's, Adornments, Buffs) only affect Auto-Attack Damage.2. DPS, like Haste - as shown in the persona window - is a value that transfers into percents and is on a diminishing return curve like mitigation. If you hover your mouse over the value, you get the effective %.If you only have the dps 10 adornment, your dps will raise by roughly 15%...That means if your auto-attack hits for 100, you do 115 damage. The Damage Rating of a weapon is the easy way to judge which weapon hits harder. To see the actual damage of your weapon with your current setup (STR, Attack Rating etc.), type /weaponstats.A 90 DR weapon will hit harder than a 70 DR weapon. Whether you hit or not has nothing to do with the weapon itself. It is a formula which includes your skill, the level (and con) of the mob, the mob's defensive abilities and the birthday of the "dev of the month"...

As above DPS and Haste only affect autoattack not your combat arts.

DPS is how hard you hit.

Haste (or attack speed) is how fast you hit.

It is pretty much the case that with 100% dps you hit twice as hard , with 100% haste you hit twice as fast and with both at 100% you would essentially do 4X the damage.

(The above is not entirely true as the last big update put a curve in that alters the actual figures slightly , but in concept thats the way it works)

As for the adornments, THEY STACK

I have 3 so gain an exta 30% DPS on top of the 19 I already have from AA giving me a solo 49% dps rating.

I believe the max is 125% at 200 points (cap). Also if I recall correctly, the medium is in the 60's (aka 65 points of dps = 65% dps). After that you'll start to gain less % per point.

Glad to know the DPS adornments stack. Been building a DPS tank for instance/trash runs where a hate buffer isnt always available.

On the stacking

There is one adornment that goes in the neck slot and one for a ranged item (not a bow unfortunately).

The thing is certain very high end items can go in multiple slots , for example the amulet of forsworn.

This means you can adorn that with EITHER a wrist adorn or a neck adorn.

In actual fact a difficult choice as for a raid tank the wrist slot +1 block is good in the neck slot as well.

I believe there is a waist and neck slot item as well , in fact somebody reckoned with the right gear you could stack 6 of these but I can not be bothered to look up the gear and try and verify that.
