New guardian here

Strength does increase your damage and your power...Stamina does increase your HP'sAgility increases your avoidance (in theory, the effect is basically nill)So, both STR and STA, both equally important.1hander and shield for tanking hard mobs, dual wield for soloing (tanking easy mobs)... <div>I'd have to add AC to the stat list. AC is the first thing I look at on everything period! Then I look at how much HP I get with the STA/HP combination. I never really paid attention to STR since I always set myself up to live while others kill it. In offensive I'm at 390 or something solo so STR comes with the gear.</div>

<div></div><p>AC usually won't start becoming a big neccessity until around 20, but definitly raise your str and sta. Also a good idea to begin to carry 2 sets of weps-one for tanking and one for soloing. I'd put sta before str though since a guard isn't supposed to be DPS dependent for killing mobs as much as outlasting....As for weps, I prefer dual wield for added stats and proc rates.....fabled shield and 1h> dual wield though later on.</p>
