<DIV>Here's a little something all you plate classes should try.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My partner has a 50 guardian and we decided to take a look at avoidance. We looked at the avoidance with armor on and armor off. with armor on avoidance was 31.9. Armor off avoidance went DOWN to 31.0. What this tells me is that the armor has no bearing on avoidance and it's attached to the character class instead. That is simply not how it should be. Since the bulky heavy armor is supposed to be causing the lower avoidance i wonder how it's effected pally, SK, inquisitor, & templars but i digress.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The meat of this issue is plate classes in this game can wear chain leather or even cloth if they so choose and if they do their avoidance should reflect the lighter armor. So i suggest the avoidance penalties be attached to the heavy plate armor not the character classes. Why is this so hard for SOE to figure out? Did none of them ever play AD&D growing up? </DIV>

<DIV>It's probably some number added to the characters avoidance number or possibly a percentage. Cause when I put on chainmail I only gained 2-3% avoidance while losing 5% mitigation Vs. my plate.</DIV>

In early Beta, people were tanking naked...
