soooo cute!! and feisty little fella..

he popped behind me at the end of the dock by his boat, replacing his "on the boat self" exactly 1 hour after I turned in his last quest.

What level does your transmuting need to be to do the sword portion of the quest line? Right now, low level transmuting is so crazy expensive that it's really not worth having more than one toon with this skill. If this skill requires 150 (the adorning requirement is 150), are you implementing a way to raise transmuting in a more cost effective way?

As an added bonus, you then have commons to burn when making the final quest rewards, and shinies to sell for coin. )

With all due respect, low level transmuting is broken on live and if a transmuting skill greater than 5 is required for this quest it will exacerbate the existing problem. I came back to the game a few months back, starting with a new account and a level 1 crafter/adventurer with 0 plat in my pocket. I can tell you from first hand experience, transmuting is the single hardest thing to level until you get to level 30+ (it maybe even higher). The number of rares required to level is absurd for a low level character unless you can afford to buy them. If the skill up rate is 50%, that's somewhere in the ball park of 250-300 rares before level 30!

Please, please rethink this portion of the quest. It will drive up the costs of these already over priced rares/adepts making it that much more difficult for new people or people returning to the game. Alternatively, and perhaps an even better solution, make the skill up rate 100% for transmuting below 150. That would help tremendously. Also, please add some low level quests that give people the opportunity to raise this skill in a reasonable manner.

Transmuting is easy to skill up IF you train it as you level up, at low levels transmutable items drops like candy.

But in the event that you really don't want to figure out how to transmute a level 5 weapon, the quest will actually also update if you just buy some fragments or otherwise obtain them.
