A suggestion to SOE for those of us unable to Beta to ease the frustration.

I know there are several of us still unable to beta test the new content (myself included) due to game always crashing when attempting to zone into either of the two new lands.<br /> <br />We want to be able to earn the lovely beta rewards but we've been unable to even attempt the new content due to the problem getting to these lands. It isn't long before it goes live, making those of us unable to test feel frustrated and ignored.<br /> <br />It would be lovely if we can at least get something in return for this frustration It doesn't have to be anything as nice as the beta rewards but at least something unique to let us know that our struggle to try and beta test for you hasn't gone unnoticed. Even a fluff pet would be nice.

did you attempt to full download the beta (not stream)?<br />that seemed to fix my crashing issue I had awhile back

I have tried all the suggestions given in the different 'unable to zone' threads and not a single one has allowed me into the new lands. Moment I reach "Adding character to zone" the game will crash. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, I've done full download, I've set everything to minium settings, even did the EQ2.ini file edit the developer suggested. Even removed the catche files that are associated with Streaming. Tried using copy'd toon, tried making a brand new toon. Not a single thing worked.

so when i first got to beta i was have all the issues mentioned above full download solved them but i would also get stuck on the added char to zone my client would not crash would just become unresponsive and ask if i wanted to force close or wait i chose wait and after 30-45min of waiting it eventually zoned in and has been working fine ever since if your client is not completely crashing to desktop i suggest waiting

I am in the same boot as the OP and have tried everything, including the full download. I am hoping to hear something regarding this b/c the expansion is due out soon and well if they can't resolve these issues now ... I have no confidence that they will have something done by then.

My game would first go to Not Responding, and within a minute it would fully crash so waiting isn't an option for me.

I can't even get past loading zone resources before I get the error message that the EQ2 client NEEDS to close. there is no wait option for me.

Even with the patch today, still unable to zone *sighs* its starting to look more and more like some of us will never get to truly test before it hits live...
