<P>Yes I will forgive you, If I wasn't a forgiving person I would not be playing this game, thats for sure.</P> <P>While you may think my question is not civil or poigniant, it actually is.</P> <P>The reason we needed a Combat Revamp was the result of the very question I pose. Spells should have been tested, Classes should have been tested, Mobs should have been tested, items should have been tested - all of them for : functionality, difficulty, balance and purpose.</P> <DIV>From beginning to end, level 1 to level 50 (or 60 if you were working on the expansion). Every mob, every class, every spell, every item. You do these things before hand and you don't even need a Combat Revamp.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I know you don't want to hear this cause it is a hard pill to swallow but sadly it is true.</DIV>

<P>I have a couple questions.  Not related to combat changes but I would like some alt advancement.  Some initial things might be an extra house vault slot which wouldnt be game breaking.  Then maybe alt advance for resists and stats similar to eq1.  I know the question has been asked many times I just wish they would put it in with simple non game breaking things first then move to more class defining AA in an expansion.</P> <P>Question on the combat changes.  I play an Illusionist.  I am very happy at this point with the combat change.  I would like to know if they are going to give enchanters an ability to stifle or something similar on epics?</P> <P>Second it is difficult at this time to distinguish the different 3 up arrow epic mobs.  Some of the 3 up arrow mobs can be mezzed others are resistant.  Will they design a way to distinguish these.</P>

<STRONG>Question</STRONG>: I would like to see priests being equal towards other classes in a PvP enviroment, currently while duelling there is no way to stand against any other classes, unless of course you manage to have good defence skills and stats. But the problem of DMG-output still <U>remain</U>. Will that be looked into?

<P>With the understanding that the Eq2 genre reflects many that have transfered from Eq1 expecting big things and some other things that they could relate to from their previous game, and those members just comming into their play style with the new system would you after almost a year of running a decent game revamp the game so it is almost brand new, making those ( loyal and decated ) members relearn a game that they thought they already knew?</P> <P> </P> <P>Sorry if it was a little wordy or phrased wrong but you said 1 question </P>

Ok, a couple of questions. 1)  One of the things that I liked about EQII pre-CU was the facet of spell line customization that was replaced with the Master II selection now.  Part of this reason was that it allowed a deviation from what did, and even more so now, feel like a cookie cutter character development, the Ah, you are are lvl 25, that means you have these spells and these spells only.  As an example, my mage Pre-CU was concentrating on cold based attacks when given the choices, the idea of the RP being that she was an ice-elementalist, rather than a fire one.  My Fury selected the special group buffs, (Group Nettleshield for example) because that is what he saw himself as.  That flavor in the game is gone, and I think it lessens the game.  Is there any plans on bringing something like that back? 2)  Also in the lines of the customization thing, would be multiple choices for clothing colors, the mage would prefer to wear a very light blue for example, my scout a dark green.  Dye packs would be most wonderfull for this.  any thoughts along those lines being considered? <div></div>

What are you going to do about the large discrepancies between the fighter classes post CU, in regard to avoidance vs mitigation tanking and Agro generation.

<P>I would ask the devs the following:</P> <P>1) When you revamped the Combat system you changed craftable and dropped items stats. Will you be creating more class specific items in the future to fill in the holes for all tiers?</P>

I'd give you a question, but I am drawing a blank, at least related to the combat revamp. Good luck with the interview Kendricke. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<DIV>Many enchanters feel that there raid ability is very poor. Some bards might feel the same (no clue, but enchanters and bards are similar). This is mainly due to a large number of our abilities not working on epic mobs. I don't doubt that other classes have at least some abilities that are like this. While I agree that balance must be maintained and no class should be overpowered, raiding seems to be fairly unequal. Is there any chance that some spells will be changed, or that new spells might be introduced to balance raiding?</DIV>

<P>Hmm if I had to ask a developer a couple of questions I would probably ask 3.</P> <P>Number One what is an eta on your next adventure pack/expansion pack and what does it contain and if nothing would you do the Island of Dread *aka IoD* from Everquest Online Adventures.</P> <P>Number Two What is your current immediate plan for the future state of EQ2.  Do you plan to add in more exciting content or calm down for a bit fixing misc. issues here and there that have arisen.</P> <DIV>Number Three Final question Do you think that Epic weaponry like the ones listed on Cyclopex.com will be introduced into EQ2 or do you plan to continue the life of the prismatic weapons upgrading them or making them a component for future epic weapons.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My biggest question would be concerning the epic weapons wondering if we could get the cool looking ones added in to EQ2 doing the lord chardith quest.  It isn't long, it isn't short and is pretty fun to do ending with killing the big dog himself.  </DIV>

<P>Will the Inquisitor and Templar classes be fixed in the area of interrupt, stun and fizzle during combat? After update 13 this has become a constant issue and will they be given more dps to allow them to solo again?  </P> <P>Thanks</P>

<DIV><STRONG>Is there a question you ask yourself every time you make a combat change?</STRONG>  Such as, does this change fit in the realm of the classes description?  Or, does this change encroach upon another classes' main benefit? And so on...</DIV>

<DIV>Where do you see the see the level of class diversity heading in the future in ways of equipment in relation to appearance/stats with the new combat revamp?  (i.e. a full rare (legendary) equipped T6 Zerker looks the same as a full rare T6 paladin)</DIV>

<P>Back in the day when food and drink were finally given stats there was a post outlining what stats the various food types would have.  All tiers since have followed that format.  </P> <P>Now the recipes from tier to tier have been extremely repetitive and although somewhat boring, they have been consistant.  Fruited tea and creamed coffee offer the same duration in each level they appear in as they take the same number of combines in all tiers to make.</P> <P>Untill tier 6.  This is really quite a mess.  The foods not only do not follow the meat = str , sweets = wis etc. format but the durations are off and the stats change as you progress the recipe.  An example would be roasted artichoke, it gives wis.  Take the roasted artichoke and turn it in to a stew or casserole it becomes stamina?  As do most of the tier 6 recipes.</P> <P>Before you color anymore armor, or build more towers could you please fix provisioning recipes for tier 6 and give us Tier 6 rare recipes for the carpenters?  It is really sad to see both my main crafters, relatively useless.</P> <P>Btw, while you are fixing placement of furniture and such, could you make it so that the baby dragons can be placed in the dragon nest?  </P> <P>I do appreciate how much there is to do to manage a game of this magnitude and I really enjoyed the halloween events, but I would really like to see what is already in place be fixed.</P> <P>Thank you,</P> <P>Morgaine</P>

<DIV>I would ask "On X4 epics why is no-drop loot so prevelent given the ability to attune items?  Some guilds would prefer more freedom to decide what they want to do with the items they obtain.  What are the con's of removing the no-drop tags, and what are the bonuses of keeping the no-drop tags?</DIV>

<DIV>Frankly, I don't care about the combat revamp...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I want to know what will be done to improve the lot of crafters, especially carpenters. The crafting aspect of this game sets it apart from any other MMO, and that's what drew me back to EQ2. I know for a fact that I am not the only one... They might be surprised to know how many people have returned to the game from another massively popular MMO that shall remain nameless for the same reason as me.</DIV>

<P><FONT color=#ccff00>Questions</FONT>: 1/ If a character can have 1 room at an Inn for 5 silver, why not have a quest arrangement so that every character <FONT color=#ff9900>you have can have adjoining rooms linked through a door</FONT> (without zoning) with full acces rights given automatically on the account. That way if you like a certain area in a city, you can stay there and not bother about moving, paying for all of the rooms from a central account. (Check boxes will allow you to choose who's rooms u wish to pay for). </P> <P>2/ Are you going to allow <FONT color=#ffff00>for a view from windows in a room</FONT>?</P> <DIV>3/ Are you going to <FONT color=#99ffcc>introduce fun GM events</FONT> that can get the whole community involved at all levels? <DIV>I tend to be a sarcastic individual who really believes in fare play and honor... some kind of ignima with in the human species I guess :smileytongue:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would have to ask the devs if the compitition between them and the end gamer over shadows what is best for the game as a whole.  It often looks to me as if they play the epic mobs like chess pieces vs the top guilds and their leet epic hit squads, with game balance often being colateral damage to the side.</DIV>

<P>:smileyvery-happy:</P> <P>I would just let the poor people eat! (after all that's what these forums are for.) I mean EVEN EQ2 Devs need</P> <DIV> a chance to enjoy a good meal without being bugged.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>When they decide to do interviews on G4, Attack of the Show or 60 Minutes THEN I would ask about maybe adding neat random quests where a house in the city was burning or wedding was being held by local nobles (food/tailoring/etc) and you could offer your crafting assistance to help NPCs in that situation out -  where the experience gained and prize awarded would go toward or be something that greatly helps crafting skills. Make crafting as fun as it is for adventurers. Have NPC's that need a crafters services directly (maybe even tailor the NPC to know to ask for something the person hailing can actually do. </DIV> <DIV>Again though I wouldn't ask this if the poor devs were just trying to enjoy a good meal!! I'd save it for these boards or interview call ins or something like that. </DIV>

<DIV>You asked for questions related to combat changes... Maybe this is my question then: Is that the only focus of the game in the future?</DIV> <DIV>I really hope not since I look for variety and maybe because I'm a woman I don't play this game because of mindless killing.
