<DIV>Wow, I'm very surprised at this move.  This pretty much seals the deal for me, all access here I come!  Thanks for the link.</DIV>

<DIV>I cancelled my subscription Tuesday to switch to a new billing method yesterday.  When I resubscribed, I spent quite a while considering whether or not the Station Access package was worth it.  I decided that even if I never logged into EQOA or EQPC again, the extra four character slots would be handy.  This makes it much, much nicer.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for giving me even more for my money, SOE!</DIV>

I asked if I can get them consolidated so i can take advantage of the pass, and have access to my character in SWG.  (cross my fingers that they will allow the consolidation!)</DIV>

<DIV>Moorgard, can you also please address the concerns of Ubisoft EQ1 or EQ2 customers who are denied use of the All Access Pass. What they told me when we did ours is that we are charged for all access the first time and then not recharged until all of the other money from the prepaid is used up in our accounts (Something > 30 days). This does appear to be how it is working for us now.

<DIV>Yes please do something about the EQ1 ubisoft problem. I realy don't care about that eq1 account. It would be great if there was a way to be able to get Soe all access ( specially with all the stuff you get with it now.) Maybe have an option to delete the eq1 subscription or move it to an other account so you can atleast have All access without loseing all your chars.</DIV> <DIV>Please look into this, all the support/tech guys just: "say sorry we can not help you" :smileysad:</DIV>

All that happens when i edit my account is that i get taken to the station players site, the page where you can get advanced guild tools etc. I even did that thinking that it might be the same thing but it isnt. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Help! im tearing my hair out here, i must be missing something on this</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>:smileysad:</DIV>

<DIV>to answer one of the questions about Different login names for different games.  Way back when my PS account and EQ1 account were under seperate logins. i spend 5 days talking with the Account rep's at SOE and finaly wound up with teh answer that they would NOT transfer my EQ characters over to a new login unless i "bought" a new CD Key (which meant i would also have to purchace all 8 fraken expansions again also) .  I finaly wound up finding a old 7-day trial CD key for PS and used it to start up a PS account under my old EQ name.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>unless SOE gets off their collected Arses and change their policy.  Not many people are going to be willing to get the Station pass if it means going out and spending the $50 bucks for both SWG and JTL again.</DIV>

<DIV>Bought the pass shortly after tehy added teh extra slots for EQ2, now I find myself more and more pleased with teh purchase. In the beginning it boiled down to the extra slots, then they began to add more and more perks, ultimately this has been the best purchase Ive ever made in association with an online game. </DIV> <DIV>And yeah that is a brown smudge on my nose.</DIV>

I played SWG for over a year before coming to EQ2 and trust me it is not even close to being as well done as EQ2 is. there is absolutely no content,it is so repetitive, and the game has some bugs in it that remain from launch date.

<DIV>I tried to get SOE to combine one of my EQOA accounts, and my EQPC, and EQII accounts a few days after EQII launched but in a nut shell they said "screw you". I did not know anything about the station access until after I had registered EQII, I wanted to get the cheaper rate plus all the heritage things like the paintings and title above my toons head but after a week of fighting they said I could only issue me NEW account keys but would have to ban the old ones. I said the hell with it and just gave up, cancelling my EQPC account and a few of my EQOA accounts. Maybe now I'll be able to get it done. I canceled SWG a good while ago because I hated it but it would be nice to be able to play it again in case the game improves.</DIV>

<DIV>I spoke with CS over the weekend, and I have new fun thing to add.  I'm on World Collect or whatever they call it for people who don't want a dollar amount on their non-dollar credit card (to avoid a currency fee every month).  So I pay via their system in three-month blocks, which is encouraged when you sign up if you have a non-dollar credit card.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I spent an hour following their instructions to upgrade, and couldn't find the option where they said it was.  Eventually a CS rep told me that I cannot upgrade until my pre-pay lapses, at which point, I should *TRY* to convert to normal credit card, and then there was still **no guarantee** that I will be able to upgrade to Station Pass.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ok, so SOE are telling a customer, who wants to pay them MORE, that they can't take the money.  And they don't know if they will let that customer pay more in future.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Something is wrong.  Who is in control of billing?  I'm not.  SOE clearly isn't.  What's going on?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Rhode of Butchblock</DIV>

<DIV>I just spoke with CS and they combined my two accounts into one with no problems.  The downside was they completely closed one of my accounts meaning you lose everything on that account then they just reissue you a new CD key for the game on the old account.  I had SWG, EQ2 on one account and EQ on the other, had them delete the EQ account and got a new cd key to add to my current account.  All in all, I was very satisified with the help they gave me.</DIV>

<DIV>I have eq, eqoa and swg as well.  EQ and EQOA on one account and SWG and EQ2 on another.  With this move they need to do something to allow us to merge accounts without having to scrap our characters and buy new games.</DIV>

Wow, SOE just gained $5 a month from me. I was going to cancel, but, I guess I'll get to play SWG and EQ2 , so good for them.

<DIV>Right, right.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>SOE All Access = EQ + EQ2 + 4 EQ2 Character slots + Planetside + SWG = ~ $21/mo</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For me I signed on to All Access becuase I played Planetside for a long time (haven't played in a month or so now), but I figured that game, plas 4 more character slots was worth the $7.  Now they added SWG (very shrewd business move).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So basically SOE games (after a certain timeframe) will can be sold under the same monthly service.  Use it to retain subscribership of some 'weaker' older products, while cross promoting products.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Looking as Sony's business agenda I could see this eventually morphing with the PS2 and ON-DEMAND technologies and a becoming a single monthly fee for the SOE network.</DIV>

<DIV>I have recently cancelled my SWG account, but now would love to pay SOE that little bit extra money for the ALL ACCESS PASS. But alas i was an original Ubisoft member of EQ1. I have a friend who played EQ1, SWG and now EQ2. Since nothing was ever said about creating all accounts on the same account he created his SWG account using a different username. He just thought that is what you were supposed to do. Well now of course he needed his SWG account merged with his station pass. He contacted Customer Support and they basically told him they could ban his old SWG account and give him a new key for the new account under his station access. But by doing this he loses his old characters and everything he had in SWG. The only way they would move his characters to his station account was if he paid the fee to transfer characters. He refused to do that and has now completely dropped all SOE games and went to play DAOC.It is just really sad that SOE doesn't care enough about its customers to transfer the characters over to the new account as part of cleaning up their blunder. Oh well, such is life. I bet Mythic and Blizzard will enjoy all the new customers they will be getting.

<DIV>Warning to all;</DIV> <DIV>Last I checked you can not play both EQ II and SWG at the same time while under Station Access.  I have a SWG and EQ II account with the same username and password.  I could play both at the same time up until Station Access included SWG. Now if I log into SWG while I'm set up for vendoring on EQ II **POOF** no more vendoring.  So everyone out there hoping to combine their SWG and EQ II accounts under Station Access may want to think it over.</DIV> <DIV>And yes I had Station Access prior to SWG being added for the extra 4 characters on EQ II.  Unfortunately SWG got "Sucked" under the Station Access umbrella because SWG shared my Station Login.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

My chat with customer support gave me the same answer others posted, I could get a new key but lose my current SWG Characters...NoooooooooHelp me Obi-wan Kenobi, er Moorgard, you're my only hope.<hr></blockquote>*cracks knuckles*Okay, I just ran the whole "consolidation gauntlet" to get my accounts all connected...it took about 2 weeks. I first started off by emailing their customer service. The message I got was that they could close my old EQ2 account, and issue me a new key...and that there was no way of transferring my characters over to the new account. So, I go back and forth then finally decide to go ahead. I email them every couple of days, and I usually got someone telling me that there was no new info...and to check the boards (I still have no clue as to why I have to check the boards). Anyways, after about 10 days of not playing (why play when everything is going to be deleted), Im told that they can transfer my characters over. When I ask them to confirm that they can do that, they say they cant transfer characters over, and to close my EQ2 account to speed up the process. So I do so (and delete my characters so that I can reuse the names). Then Im asked if Im "sure" I dont want to transfer my characters over, as they can do that now. So, I have no clue as to what they can or cant do. My original email was one of those RE RE RE things, so I have CS telling me that they will delete all my characters/items, then a little farther up that they can transfer everything to a new account. If you want to consolidate your accounts, Id just start emailing now...you might have everything all squared away by Summer.
