<DIV>I just want to thank you for continuing to offer a great service to the EQ2 community. I know there are some people that are looking for a free TS server to just bs around while playing EQ2. They are very appreciative for Up All Night Gaming to offer a free TS server.</DIV>

<DIV>I just used this product for the first time last night.  There were some very minor kinks getting up and running but myself and 3 other RL friends were able to get the whole thing setup and running within 15 minutes and it worked flawlessly.  There was very little lag and it was many times better than a similar product we tried before that.  The earlier product we gave up on after messing around with it for 40 minutes and still having poor results.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The only thing I have to disagree with is the statement about not having to play EQ all month long....go outside.  ARE YOU MAD!  hehe just kidding <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>Outside. I'll have fond memories of being outside. I'll have to take some pictures so I won't forget. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And the addiction returns. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thank you for running the teamspeak server...I've used it a lot in other games and once you get used to not having to type everything, there is just no going back. </DIV>

<DIV>Hmm, outside, that's that zone I have to go through to go from home to work, right? *twitch*</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I loved that comment, by the way. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have a buddy of mine who's big into Call of Duty (ugh, wargames) and he and his guild use teamspeak a lot.</DIV>

<DIV>Yeah I love Teamspeak 2. </DIV> <DIV>    I have been using TS for a good number of years now, mostly with SWG and occaisonal  FPS's, and I cannot see ever going back to "snail" typing. It's amazing the difference in gameplay that TS allows you to do. By the time you type: "look out behind you!", your buddy is already flat out on the ground <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV>    If there are any guilds on mistmoore (or possibly Neriak if I decide to move "lag-moore") leeme know, as I'll glady be a productive part of your TS speaking guild <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>I do not mean to step on any toes, but for anyone who uses TeamSpeak, I STRONGLY suggest using this add-on program called TeamSpeak Overlay. I have no affiliation with these guys, and the program is still considered 'beta' but I have been using it in EQ1 for almost a year, and now I am using it in EQ2 and LOVE IT. It allows you to see who is speaking WHILE YOU ARE PLAYING EQ. <A href="http://www.teamspeakoverlay.com/" target=_blank>http://www.teamspeakoverlay.com/</A>. </DIV>

I don't like the fact it has been in BETA for so long! Not to mention it's not usable if you run fraps. Hell if you minimize your game it will crash as well <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I would use caution when using this program as it has been in beta for a year or so with barly any updates.</DIV>

<DIV>We have made 2 changes on channels</DIV> <DIV>Game channels and will always continue to be open to the public - those are team channels on the server.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any guild clan or group can get a channel, password protected, with sub channels, see our web site for more details.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Why the change?</DIV> <DIV>We are an adult gaming community - and never expected the few who would try and spoil a good thing we provide to the community.</DIV> <DIV>Asking for guild channels then never using them</DIV> <DIV>Asking for a guild channel, using it, then asking 2 days later for us to change the name of their group because A decided to merge into B.</DIV> <DIV>Making posts on their own forums or web sites advertising all that they did to get teamspeak, and link to us via our IP address and never mention us by name.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Things that just take away from the gaming community that is Up All Night Gaming.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So we updated our website, forums, teamspeak, and each individual guild using team speak, email and their channel descriptions of the changes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Then made them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And yet, while the reaction has been nothing but wonderful from our community, a few have had the gaul to complain about changes to something we provide for free to the larger gaming community. To those people, we say head over to somewhere else - and Happy New Year.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
