Title explains my request completely. Most of the time, you have about 10 detriments on you in a matter of 2 seconds and it's over before it started. There's no way you can hope to cure enough, least of all, cure the detriment you intended to cure. Most likely, you won't be able to do so, even with no pot cooldowns but some attempt is certainly better than ZERO and left waiting for the revive button to appear.

Ummmmmmmmmm yeah, ok.. your logical reasons for disagreement have me totally against the ropes. In the current state they are almost useless in PvP. I understand that you play a class that can blow people up from a range farther away than my bow or CA can reach so it's very understandable why you wouldn't want people to be able to cure all those detriments. As for finding a healer or playing one? Why should I have to? I play solo most of the time. Healers can DPS but aren't DPS classes. Make Healers group with a DPS class if they want DPS. Tanks? Tanks do insane DPS, pop death prevents so you have to kill them 5 times and have heals. If they want heals, make them group with healers or DPS if they want to DPS. My main is a Dirge and it's bad enough that my PvP DPS was turned to mud with this Game Update. My CA's are weak ( they never were huge in the first place ) Melee auto attacked nerfed to Kingdom Come and my buff songs are now about useless due to the crummy returns for most people that are already well over the point of usefulness. Yay, I have 6 minute cool down group AOE prevent and a cure revive sickness every 23 seconds........ These items exist and there should be no reason why they can't be made useable. It's bad enough that I have to run off to another city to buy PvP items since they removed our vendor from Freeport. ( granted, they arent all that great either but it's not like I have any other use for the useless 25million plus status that I have ) There is no logical reason for the current cool down timers.

Sorry, but I agree with Alabama -- not only is a real healer going to be a big improvement for you in other areas, the simple fact is that cure potions aren't supposed to replace a player.

The pvp game is more balanced in grp play - the above posters are absolutley correct. This game was at its worst balanced around everscout, sorcquest, Riseofthecrusader 1:1 pvp mentalities.

Buff bots that don't push out enough buff to do themselve's a favor? They bring very few things to a group in pvp anymore, people are pretty much at cap with half the things they put on you. I'm sure you'll take the time to point out a few things to make it sound different than it is, but truth be told, bards need to made useful again. Either to themselve's or other classes.

Seriously though.. pots are on like a 7-10 second recast. It's almost the same reason why healer cures where changed to a 2second (don't quote me) recast.... to prevent healers and I guess what your asking for in pots, to nullify players that rely on dots and cc's to kill people. It's a good thing to have a small delay on these things.

Here is what you should do... setup ACT triggers to yell at you when something lands on you that you absoultely need to cure asap (Plague Bringer for example). Instance pot cure that off you. It won't get burried behind other effects if your quick. You don't need to waist time pot curing every little thing.... and using things like ACT and timed pot cures really does separate the good from the great players.

Or complain about your class... dirges have some serious issues with what they've changed recently.

Good luck

A reduction of the reuse time of cure potions in pvp combat wouldn't break my heart, but yeah, they aren't there to replace healers.

But its hardly an important issue, and there are other far more glaring issues that need atantion.

In PvE? Awesome as always but PvP? Forget it, it's just a hope to get lucky most of the time or never leave a x4 in BG's. (( Even though the class isn't that usefull to any one else except for a nice rez )) I know alot of people play this game while having a computer generated voice tell them what to click next, I sure as heck am not going to become one of them.
