View Full Version : Who is the PVP developer anyway?

Who is the current PVP developer? Who is in charge of making the rules on the PVP server? Who is the official SOE watchdog on Nagafen?...... Whoever it is, that person needs to be fired and replaced immediately!

Why?

1. Because nobody on Nagafen even knows who this person is, or if this position even exists, which says alot about this person's relationship with your customers.

2. The PVP gameplay is pointless, not fun, makes no logical sense, and changes for the worse with every new expansion.

3. This developer's ideas have chased many PVPer's away from this game, which costed you (SOE) money.

4. His/her's strategy has left the little bit of us remaining feeling hopeless and unenthused about the future of PVP on the Nagafen server.

My two cents: Get rid of the pvp only stats, and switch the ruleset back to how it was during KOS. Do that and the rest of the other problems (like BGs, WFs, too many instances, not enough contested dungeons, too many teleportation methods, no penalties for dying etc.) will seem like minor issues. Do it not and Nagafen will be a ghost town very soon.

Asking straight forward isn't going to get you an answer. During this years SOE Live we will probably find out, until then it is speculated that there isn't one.

It might just be a little easier to ton down the damage, and get rid of stats that don't belong in pvp, maybe take a good look at aa's and class developing. If people knew they wouldn't get one shotted walking out the door, they would walk out the door more. Plus bogues idea's like the wf 2 hours with the benefit of winning being so low, no one really wants to come out for pvp. The people who think there titles mean they are good pvpers refuse to come out half the time, and the people with 0 integrity refuse to work for the gear, which but will stop to complain about pvp. So from gear, spell's,ca's,aa's, general stats, classes, and people mind state's as of the moment, you are not going to find what your looking for even if you roll back in time, let's be honest most the people who liked pvp either don't play anymore, or are stuck in pve mode.

Everything you said has been in pvp from the get go, even at it's peak. The players, stats, and mech's, are diff now, but the rules are not.

This is what pvpers do:

1) Kill each other and pillage/steal wherever possible

2) Grief

3) Complain

4) Mix/Repeat

PvPers are their own worst enemy.
