I've been playing for at least a year on an NVidia GeForce 8400 GS on an older PC. With each update, EQ2 gets slower and slower and crashes more and more, so I bought a new (well, new to me) PC (Dell Dimension 5150 running XP). I pulled the card from the old PC and put it in the newer one, and installed the proper drivers. I made sure I was running DirectX 9.0c, then I ran DxDiag to make sure all the tests passed.. But when I went to run EQ2, a little while after it said PLAYING, it popped up the error

G:liveeq2frameworkcoredevicesDirectXRenderDevice.c pp(1999):Failed to create D3D device for NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS 00c399aa

'Sup w/dat?
