I know that the New Halas 'large' home has an outside (snowy) area and that Qeynos (2 Lucy St 4 rooms???) has an inclosed outside "garden" area, also Maj'Dul looks like it has access to an outside area (no high enough characters to actually check them out myself).

What other homes have outside areas or patio/balcony that is usable?

I can find descriptions of the homes BUT nothing talks about OUTSIDE areas?

Thanks for any links or feedback!

ALL of the six room city houses have an outdoor patio of some sort. Neriak, Gorowyn, New Halas, Qeynos, Freeport, Maj Dul and Kelethin large homes all come with a balcony/patio. Freeblood Lair, Lavastorm, And the MMCE all have an outdoor patio/balcony type area too (that I know of).

Hope that helps!

If you check out this link to EQ2 Traders, they havea nice little chart for all of the city housing. When you look at the # of rooms at an address and it has a + sign (for example, 6+) then that means the house has an additional balcony area. Unfortunately poor Mum lost her info on the prestige housing, so the info on the chart is pre-AoD.

Also, I noticed that the 4 room Freeport and Qeynos houses do have a bit of an outdoor area too (it counts as one of the rooms though), just not as large as the six room ones .

Hope that helps!

Actually Zam has pictures of every single room of every house including the balconies. They used to have video walkthroughs too, but after I found the pics of each one I quit looking. Just typed in "housing".

Lots of holes in the city, but still lots of solid space outside the home.

Freeblood Lair (and I assume MMCE) large breakout area - beach, cliffs etc

Lavastorm - LARGE area of seafloor and a little but around the cliffs

Thanks for the replies and info.

Can you please explain about "breakout areas". I have read a lot about Where but can't find any info on WHAT this actually is and how you DO it (or breakout).

Thanks again I really appreciate the info.

You normally can get a "lock" for the teleporter outside the house, but if you can't, then just place a table up against the window/balcony you want to break through then place the teleporter on it, pushing it as far outside the house as you can.

Transport to the outdoor teleporter and you should find yourself outside the house in the area that was supposed to be just viewed from a distance.

The breakout areas range in quality. Some are very complete with a few holes in the world and incomplete bits others are quite incomplete and have large areas of ground you fall through.
