The buff Marathan's Angst on your void stalker, when doing the Lavastorm solo shard runs, also disappears immediately after casting.

Well I think they broke this with one of the two fix's

Fixed a bug where if you had a single target maintained spell on a group member and logged out that the spell would still be there when you logged back in.

Fixed a bug where maintained spells on mercenaries would drop when zoning.

These were both in todays patch and since that patch I can no longer flameshield my pet, also the defiler I double box can no longer ward the pets the wrad lasts about 1 second and drops.

This is a case of fix one break many

Hopefully they will correct this soon as it totally breaks game mechanics.

It sadens me every time this happens, things get patched and something else brakes....

Is there no testings done what so ever and shouldent the ones working with fixing things know by now that is you change/ fix something you have to CHECK what this will do to everyone else in the same area/class/etc/etc... !?

I have a feeling that pet related classes will be in the crosshairs for a long time due to Beastlord and its many many fixes coming in the future....

But devs have been fast in fixing things and they will be swift in this again i hope =)

/w

Indeed, I can no longer place "Amends" on my groupmate's pet, either. This equates to dead mage and wiped group.

I was able to reproduce this bug consistantly on both my necro and conjuror. Nothing that targets 'friend' will stick, but the pet specific spells (stances and such) still do. Also had another conjy group with me and we tried shielding/fire seeding each others' pets. Same issue, they landed but cancelled themselves immediately.

On my necro, even tried the temp buffs from Drawing of Souls on the pet. Same thing happened.

Bug report submitted in game.

Update: after futher testing, I can confirm that this is affecting all pets, summoned, charmed, and beastlord warders. Not only will buffs not stick (including those from other classes, e.g. Amends from a paladin), but single target wards and heal over time spells drop immediately also.

The group versions of the heals seems to still be working properly.

Zol... your not supposed to fix things so fast. What are people going to have to complain about?
