Just wanted to say thank's to the dev's for this prestige house.

The atmosphere, setting is fantastic imo.I think it's the best yet and cannot wait to see some of the creation's people come up with.

I have a nasty little winged annoyance chomping at the bit for Orpiment to finish planning out her Felwithe project so she can have the decorator's full attention. The moment she saw the isle she knew she had finally found her home.

(now to just get the carp leveled up....)

Ugh I'm torn. I had full intentions on buying one when I just logged in but was dissapointed that they didn't make one requested change that everyone was pleading for. Still no way to get outside from the top of the tower, there are no windows on the inside but there are windows on the outside. I take it we can't buld outside without rain falling through them. Sigh. I guess I'll keep doing other things until they come out with a new house that inspires me. I'm too frustrated to give them any more money right now.

I love the atmosphere -but- I don't like that it will rain inside of anything built on the island. Dear devs, can we have a way to turn the rain off and/or can it be moved into the distance, just off the coastline? Pretty please? Until then, I just don't have any interest in it.

I love this and started playing with it right off the bat and had a tile issue that maybe someone can explain to me?

I placed some tiles and they looked like this ..

Then I zoomed in a tiny bit and it looked like this......

Is there a magic trick or is it a glitch in the graphics?

This could be a legitimate flooring bug.

I love the storm clouds and the isle idea. The colors are beautiful. I hate the rain though. You can't build anything outside of it. Other than that I think it's lovely.

I love the sanctum as well, just not those hideously oversized beds. It leaves little room for personalization.

I think that personalization is a big seller for most of these homes. People want to create something for themselves in the world of Norrath.

If it had a view from inside through the windows and a balcony or something at the top of the tower, and cave in the rock off the beach I would definitely want to get it. As it is, I'll pass on this one.

Edit: typo

My Troll Witchdoctor in training plops down a tent and notices that the rain does not fall through the tent.

So she then proceeds to levitate and enlarge a bone tile and raise it above her, and upon looking up at it, sees no rain falling through.

Is it the graphics settings giving the illusion that rain doesn't fall through some solid objects, or are the island graphics actually smart enough to determin it should not rain through a tent or a raised tile?

Just curious if anyone else has noticed this.

Oh indeed if rain doesn't fall through solid objects on Storm Isle that would be most awesome

It would have been nice to get confirmation from Devs before having to try it out ourselves though. Communication is slowing down lately...

I know quite a few people that were immediately adverse to buying it due to the "rain through structures" concern. Guess they are just relying on word of mouth I suppose, but I'm sure it affected their launch day sales.

I also put up four dividers and a tile for a roof just to test it and I could see the rain bouncing off the roof tile when I switched views, it was kind of cool actually. I also boxed myself in entirely just to ensure i couldn't see any drops inside and nada.

I only had time to test two locations though..the beach area and the small sort of round area near the existing house on the isle.

I was playing around with some of the Grobb stone tables, to see if they'd look good if I used them to make a cave or secondary island, and thought I noticed this too. I was planning to use the rain as water dripping from the ceiling, but as I stood there appraising the "look" of it, I thought it looked like the rain was splashing off the tables and not falling through... BUT, I was a bit pressed for time, so I didn't really look at it too thoroughly... I just put it on my "things to do tommorrow or the next day" list

It would be VERY cool if it has "smart" rain! That would be a win/win for those who like it with AND without the rain!

Now, if we could just get the "Crude Stone Bench," "Crude Stone Block," "Rough Stone Bench," and "Rough Stone Table" in textures to match the terrain textures in the Tenebrous Tangle and the Storm Isle homes (like a "Stormsoaked Stone Bench" or a "Tenebrous Stone Bench" etc), I would just explode in pure joy

I have also confirmed that the rain does not fall through roofs of the outdoor designs.
